I didn't want to even give it one star but was forced to in order to give my review. Country Crock was the ONLY margarine I could tolerate! I LOVED it. Now it's so disgusting that when I open the lid, it makes me gag! Please please send me some from the old recipe. I will gladly PAY YOU to make and ship to me.

It's a soft butter which makes it easier to spread then stick butter and that is a huge plus for me. I will be using Country Crock from now on and I recommend it to you!!

Country Crock is so versatile when cooking, whether it's used in sweet or savory dishes the rich buttery flavor always makes a difference. I use it for many dishes to enhance the flavor. When steaming veggies for myself I like to add a teaspoon of Country Crock butter in a waterless pan for a healthy side dish.

I've been baking with country crock for years. I've been storing butter the same way for years, this new stuff you've came up with went to liquid when left on the counter ( as I have done for years) So, I put it in the fridg. and halfway empty the tub got MOLD inside. 1st thing I noticed when we bought it was the flavor was off somehow .I like bread & butter normally, I wont use this.It even tasted bad on a baked potato Then I tried cooking with it (grilled cheese) and it smelled bad and tasted bad. I refuse to ruin my homemade breads & deserts by putting this product in them. I am very disappointed that I have to find another brand to use after all these years . Any chance you'll be changing back to the old recipe ? I hope so.

This spread tastes good and it is a great value for the amount of product in the container. It is spreadable enough to take it right from the fridge to put on your bread or toasted breads. I use this every day in recipes, as an addition to vegetables, or just on plain bread. I recommend this for anyone looking for a great product at an even greater price!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our family loves the original Country Crock butter. We use it to make grilled cheese sandwiches, we add it to our mushrooms when they are being saute, we put drops of it over our chicken when we are baking it. I have to say though baking with it is my favorite. I love the fact that it is so soft and I can place a small amount into a glass bowl and microwave it at 10 second intervals to completely melt it. The new "original" recipe seems creamier than the old original, which I love. I also love that the new tub isn't round. I found the old rounder tub made it bulky and hard to place neatly in the fridge. Now it comfortably fits inside our drawers taking up no more space than necessary.
