Takes Me Right Back to Childhood!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'll admit, I haven't used margarine or "spread" in 20+ years, so I was initially hesitant to use Country Crock in my cookies instead of butter, but my curiousity, a free sample from Influenster, and memories of my Grannie's baked goods(who always used Country Crock) finally won me over and we followed the #MakeItYours campaign and used the #CountryCrockonesimplerecipe and made a few batches of cookies. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality! I was afraid the cookies would spread too much or taste oily, but they were delicious and gone way too quickly! My 11 year-old is already planning our next cookie-making session with maple sugar and bacon cookies, and rainbow cookies!

Love cooking even better now

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is so creamy and tasty. It works well in the kitchen and brings the favor out of all my kitchen creations. I was able to make cabbage, pumpkin pie, and butter my corn for Thanksgiving and everything turned out great!

Water in my margarine

I'm having the same issue as a couple other reviewers. I have water in my tub of margarine I have to pour off every time I use it. It seems to be separating or something. I've used country crock for many years and this is an issue I've never had before. I'm wondering have they changed something? If so it has definitely made the product worse. I will not continue to buy it if I have the same problem with my next purchase.

Great butter

I like the Country crock originally butter. It taste so yummy on different products.Love that the ingredients are grown naturally. I like the design of the container. You get a lot for your money too. Love that there is only 50 calories per one teaspoon.

Great taste and spreads easily

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my tub of Country Crock Original free to test out and give my honest opinion and I have to say it really is a great product. It has a great taste and is easy to use/spread, right from the tub. I used it to make cookies with my grandson and they came out awesome. I would definitely recommend this product.

Just Sad

Normally, I'm not such a Debbie Downer. I 100% believe in standing up for products you believe in. I grew up my entire life eating Country Crock. As a matter of fact as a child I didn't even realize there where other butters other than Country Crock and stick butter. I've noticed over the last year or so a big change. It's not the same soft delicious butter it once was. Overall it feels greasy, watery and unmeltable at times. I can put 3+ tablespoons in a pan now and there is FAR more clear liquid (oil/water?) than any butter content than I've ever seen before. The containers are horrendous, I've dropped my butter more since the new square containers than I have my entire life. I've moved on to other products, hopefully one day we can have Country Crock back until, I won't be purchasing this product anymore.

Surprisingly Impressed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] ***Please note that I received a coupon for free product in exchange for trying it and giving an honest review. *** As someone who eats a mostly organic/non-gmo certified diet, I did not have high hopes for this product. I figured it would not be very good at all and taste very fake. After viewing the ingredient list, I was impressed and hopeful. After making a few dishes that I normally use Organic Earth Balance in, I was surprisingly impressed. It had very good flavor and was almost as good as what I was used to eating. My only issues with it was that it was a tad softer than I like my butter substitutes and it was not organic/non-gmo certified. Other than that, it was very good. If they would come out with an organic/non-gmo version, I would totally recommend and buy this product. If you do not care about those issues, you will definitely like this product. Thanks for the free sample!

Mmmmm mmmm good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We absolutely love country crock original spread. The buttery flavor and ultra smooth spread has my children asking for seconds and thirds for their morning toast. Country crock doesn't take fake and artificial like other brands.

WHY!?!?!?!

We have used Country Crock for years. I've even made special trips to other stores to get it when my usual store was out. This "new recipe" has ruined a once-great product. It doesn't melt the same. It doesn't smell the same. It most definitely does not taste the same. It even seems to leave a bad lingering aftertaste when eaten cold. I am now off to find a replacement product.

My go to butter!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my go to butter. There's this Vietnamese dish that I adore called, bo chien bo, which basically translate to beef fried in butter. The butter is what this dish flavor derives from. I've tried other kind of butter and let me tell you how much the wrong choice in butter can totally ruin a dish.
