[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was skeptical to try Country Crock only because I am a serial buyer with products and once I find something I like I usually stick to it! When I first spread the butter onto my morning slice of toast it melted quickly and went on nice and smooth, didn't break the bread or anything. The butter melted after about 20 seconds and was ready to be tasted, delicious! Nice flavor, not too buttery or oily. This now will be added to my butter list!! I have used this for as long as I can remember and I have always left it out!! The past 2 tubs ( only 2 tubs of the new) I have gotten have grown mold in them. I will be looking to change brands because this is just gross. Nothing was wrong with the old kind so why change it just to try to save a buck. You lost my money.

I used to use Country Crock and I stopped for a while. I am glad I got a container because I am sold again. It's great for all the recipes ans meals. Since breakfast to dinner. It's very soft and good taste and the price is fine too. Great for a big family!!! I usually go for the extra added calcium as a mother of 8 kids, I try to sneak in some healthiness into their food intake. The new version spreads much more easily, has a great mouthfeel and good consistency. The taste is about the same as always, so no bad surprises there - even though now there's 0 trans fats which is awesome. Country Crock makes the best grilled cheeses in the world btw! The next best thing to butter!

I've been using Country Crock religiously for 20 years and now I have to either switch or pray they bring back the original. The new taste is absolutely horrible and I can't even stomach it. I have never used another butter product and am honestly extremely disheartened they changed the recipe because now I cannot enjoy any of my recipes that call for butter. I also cannot use it to fry things because it fries differently- and not in a good way!! Never buying this again until they change it back, because as mentioned, I can't even stomach the new taste.

I'm not a huge butter person, but when I do splurge I'm very satisfied with the taste and texture of this spread. It melts great for grilled cheese and adds tons of yummy flavor. I have yet to bake with it but I will be making muffins soon for a quick grab and go snack!

As a child I remember my grandma, aunts and uncles always recycling the containers for leftovers lol. The butter is fast and easily spread on all of my favorites from pancakes to toast. The new recipe is as enjoyable as the last and I like that they're trying to make the recipe healthier.
