My Mother always used it in her kitchen and now it happens to be the only brand of buttery spread I will buy. Country Crock has made their product even better as of late by simplifying the ingredients it contains, too! It still has the same great taste and consistency, just better for us! We use it in place of butter for several dishes. It's a lot easier to spread than real butter and still has a great and satisfying buttery taste. I suspect that this product will remain in our family for a very long time. I received a sample in return for my honest opinion & review.

It was a staple. I'm thrilled to find that they've remade the recipe and simple ingredients are used. What I feed my family matters to me. The taste was practically identical. I seriously couldn't tell a difference. I'm not saying that I am giving up my butter but Country Crock Original definitely has a spot in my fridge. Not only is it the best spreadable butter, but it's so versatile. I can eat it on toast or muffins alone, or use it in cooking,or mix cinnamon and sugar with it to make a sweeter spread (since they don't make the cinnamon on their own now, it seems - CRAZY! if you ask me). It's all around just GOOD. Love, Love, LOVE this spread!

However, i used it for baking cookies and they turned out very "cakey" and puffy. Not my favorite cookie texture, but they tasted fine!

Yummy great taste be it a spread for bread or making cookies or in meals these spread is awesome I love the taste and I even add while making flat bread to make it soft .
