I have cooked with Country Crock for over 20 years. Now I will be changing my brand. The new recipe tastes terrible (pungent) in everything from toast to baking and everything in between. Its a sad day to have to find another Brand to replace what has always been a staple in my home, especially at the holiday seasons. GOODBYE COUNTRY CROCK!

I haven't had country crock since I was a kid, I remember it being oily and smelling odd. I wasn't expecting much but tried it with an open mind. I was surprised by how much I actually liked it. Spreads easily, tastes great, and no more funny smell. Ended up buying another carton wishing I had originally gotten the big tub.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a die hard Country Crock fan for many years and was super excited when I saw the new "space saver tub" in stores. However I had just recently purchased a new tub so it was a while before I got to buy the new one. I honestly wish I would have known to savor a little bit more what I had, but as the song says, you don't know what you've got til it's gone. I previously used Country Crock spread in baking because its oil content was sufficient. This is no longer the case. And truly for the very minimal price difference now, I will just be using good old butter from here on out. If I have no other option, I will probably use it again. The butter mixes way better than most I have used. It stays soft even when put in the fridge. Which is what I love. There is no problem spreading it on bread toasted or not toasted.

This is the only "butter" my family will use, and this is a great value. We are a family of 4 adults, 2 30-something big guys, and this lasts us a month, maybe a little more, which is a GREAT value in my book! No last minute trips out for 1 or 2 little things - yeah!

I'm a college student, so when I'm not studying I want everything I do to be as easy and convenient as possible. I received this in my Influenster box, however, so I decided to give it a try. I don't really use these spreads very often, but I find it's incredibly convenient for cooking. Especially for spreading on toast, this is quite easy to work with. I normally use it for my breakfast. It also tastes very good so I will definitely consider repurchasing.
