Sometimes I buy butter that says spread, but its terribly hard, this went smoothly on the knife and spread nicely on bread. I also used this to make cookies, absolutely amazing! I will definitely buy again! I received this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion.

I like the look of the new tub, but when I used it the taste was immediately awful, I thought it was me, but when my daughter complained I realized it was not. I looked on the tub and it said new simple recipe. It is not good, in any way. The taste is awful, then there is a thick filmy after taste that is so bad my gag reflex took over. We had made grilled cheese and the bread just stays soggy, we thought it was the bread. Please, please change it bad to the original recipes, especially churn style. This is the only butter I have been buying since you came out. Now what?!

I have been using country crock my whole life. My mom always bought for us, and now I always buy this brand. It's all around delicious, great flavor and not heavy. Perfect for anything goes u need it for. Will continue to use this for as long as I need to buy butter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoy Country Crock Original over any spread. It doesn't make my food seem heavy with butter...its like the perfect balance. I usually hate to spread butter on my toast but Country Crock has changed that.

I threw away a bag of potatoes thinking they were bad. Once the second bag had the same flavor, I took a closer look at your margarine and spotted "New Simple Recipe". At the bottom, in a much larger font, it says "ORIGINAL". To quote Andre the Giant from Princess Bride, "I do not think that word means what you think it means". When Coca-cola screwed up their recipe, they had the good sense to admit their mistake and bring the original back. Please do the same. But keep the new container. That's an improvement.

I enjoy using it now that I have a family of my own, as well. It spreads easier than cold butter but it still has that yummy buttery flavor that a lot of other spreads lack. I use Country Crock in many different ways while cooking and baking, and I recommend it to my friends.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the taste of butter, but spreading butter on soft textures as muffins or toast usually makes a big mess. Country crock provides the taste of butter I love but easily spreads on my muffins in the morning. Great product for baking as well. My favorite is using Country Crock on Muffins, and toast in the mornings.
