I'm not sure why the change in the Country Crock original recipe?? I have had nothing but complaints from my entire family. Even my 8 year old can taste the difference and refuses to eat any of the butter.. Please, Please, Please change back until then I will be forced the purchase another brand until then. The new recepie does have a noticeable difference and in my opinion does not melt and spread the same as the previous brand. The product is a lot thicker, but with that being said the healthiness of this product is not compromised. I still enjoy cooking anything from breakfast to lunch with this butter.

My family is usually on a tight budget when it comes to food every month so we usually buy store brand products. I would have to say country crock beats any store brand I have used. It taste better and is easier to use than store brand.

I did not buy this product, however have purchased it since with my own money. I cook a lot with butter substitutes mostly in baking and mashed potatoes as well as sauteeing vegetables for my family dinners. I have been very pleased with the rich buttery taste and consistency. I used to buy another brand of margarine but I am a concert now! Definitely try it out!

I have always liked that is creamy and smooth compared to sticks of butter, however it had a slightly artificial taste. This new product has an amazing full flavor that won't make you feel guilty after eating or cooking with it. I love love love this!

I have been waiting patiently for country crock to go back to its original recipe. I am hoping this will happen sooner instead of later. I grew up with Country Crock. My now grown children knew no other "butter" while growing up. Your decision to change your recipe reminds me of when Coca Cola changed their recipe in the 80's to "New Coke". When they finally saw the light, they brought back the original Coke calling it Classic Coke. If you bring back the original recipe you can also call it Classic - Classic Country Crock! My family and I are waiting and hoping this will happen. Thank you for listening.

I've been buying it for years my favorite brand. Its smooth and it spreads so easily. I use it for baking or on veggies. I also like to use it to make garlic shrimp, eggs, roux.
