Honestly I have been using coconut oil for my cooking needs lately as an alternative to butter. I like coconut oil but this butter was much better to use for the two purposes I tried: toast and s'mores cookies. The cookies turned out great using this product! The buttered toast was absolutely delicious, it made me miss butter!

I received a tub of Country Crock Original to test and review complimentary from influenster. I have used Country Crock in the past and it is still my go to margarine. There is no brand that comes close to the crwamy, buttery goodness that Country Crock has created.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the Original on toasted blueberry bagel. It spread very evenly and melted into the bagel nicely. As far as taste, it was OK, but had a slight bitter taste. The older recipe had a sweet flavor to it. I did have a bitter aftertaste for a few hours after eating this.

I received this in my Influenster Voxbox for my unbiased review. First off let me say we always had this in our house when I was growing up. We used it everyday for cooking, toast, etc. It is still just as good! My kids and I made chocolate chip cookies with it and they were awesome! We will definitely be having this in our refrigerator from now on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband loves country crock on his toast, it spreads much more easily than butter straight from the fridge. I usually put it on baked potatoes. I've tried to cook with it, but it doesn't always have the right consistency as real butter in a few recipes, such as my grandmas shortbread. It just never came out right unless I used butter. So this is a good spread, but not a total replacement of butter for me. I received this product free in my @Influenster Voxbox to test.

I've been eating country crock as long as I can remember, recently I noticed a difference in how it cooks up in the pan, like the melting point is higher. It is just different, kinda leaving a film or residue. The girlfriend says she notices a taste difference also.

I like that the tub is square now because it fits in the door in the fridge! We recently made some smore's cookies with this butter and they are delicious!!!

Tastes just like butter, and I've been using it for years in almost all my cooking and baking! It is very versatile, melts quickly, and is a major staple for most of my recipes.
