Creamy and Buttery!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We normally get the calcium infused Country Crock so it was nice to try just the Original one this time around. Ever since the formula has changed our family has really noticed a difference for the better! The Original style was even creamier than I remember. We used it to toast hamburger buns, put it on our vegetables, and used it in lieu of butter in our mac and cheese. I have not tasted mac and cheese that creamy in a long time! This margarine was definitely the star of last night's dinner!

Great Butter Substitute

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although, I received this tub for free, Country Crock is something that has been used in my household since I can remember. Although I, myself are not lactose intolerant, more than half of my family is, Country Crock was aways used in my house when I was little since it was a healthier, lactose free version of butter. And trust me, we went through a lot of trial and error trying to find something that would work just as mindlessly as butter. Unlike some butter substitutes, Country Crock can be used without any worries about giving up taste or texture for healthier food, even now when I can use butter as much as I want, I still use Country Crock about ninety-nine percent of the time, because in my opinion, if you're looking for a margarine, butter substitute, or just a plain healthier option, Country Crock is definitely the way to go.

Smooth and Soft

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using Country Crock for at least 15 years. It's always smooth and soft. I use it mainly for baking and it never disappoints. I received a Country Crock product for review. #ad #influenster

Great butter alternative!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This spreads 'like butter', and is delicious! I definitely prefer it over butter for toast and even opted to use for sautéing vegetables for dinner. It added a nice rich flavor and we really enjoyed it.

Love Butter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Country crock butter is absolutely amazing. We are very southern & put butter on everything, this butter is simply the best. Anytime you open my fridge you'll find a tub of country crock butter inside.

So spreadable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super awesome butter for making cookies, grilled cheese and other yummy things. I love how it doesn't have to be softened and I can use it immediately, my kids don't like to wait! Flavor is perfect per usually and I love the tubs they come in.

Nasty

Nothing "original" about it. Just nasty. We are going to return it for a refund. The ONLY good thing about it is the container. In the survey for this review, I've marked that this is not the first time I've tried this product. Under this name, I've tried it (last 20 years probably). Tried it with this taste, no.

Great taste

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the real butter rich taste on my popcorn. I use half the salt with it. It is super quick to melt as it is easily spreadable. My son loves it in his cornbread. It is also gluten free! I recieved this last tub free from influinster, however buy it all the time.

Great Taste!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I cannot believe the amazing taste of Country Crock original spread. My family and I enjoyed it on corn on the cob this evening, and we could not tell the difference from it and butter.. I will definitely be buying it in the future.

Tastes great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a free container if butter from @influenster in exchange for my honest review. I am not a "brand loyal" kind of person. Sure, I might prefer one brand to another, but I've got a family on a budget and that often means buying whatever is on sale. I really appreciated being able to try this product. My family is not the type to spread butter on anything (like pancakes or muffins, for example), but I do use butter in my cooking. So far, I have used this butter while cooking Macaroni and Cheese, mashed potatoes, grilled cheese, chocolate chip cookies, and Blondie bars. To be totally, 100% honest, I did not notice a huge difference tastewise. As I said, I don't spread it & just eat. It's always baked in & cooked. But I can say that I love the way it spreads, and it somehow felt less oily to me. I grew up eating Country Crock, so it is a brand I definitely trust.
