I like it because it is easy to spread where other spreadable margarine products can be too hard to spread. It also helps to make delicious flakey baked treats!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It works like butter and does what it is supposed to. I give it three stars because I have had better more convenient butters/butter alternatives. I wish they had had the sticks in store. The tub makes me feel like I am cross contaminating. But as for the butter. It is easy to spread and all that. Melts nicely.

Very disappointed with new changes. It leaves a bad taste to anything I try it with. Looking at reviews I see some 5's but, they're from people who received the product for free. The ones who bought it are all showing 1's! This gives me hope, that you'll come to your senses, and go back to the original! If not, I'm sure this will be discontinued!

I don't like the new tubs. The lids don't stay on and because of that I have dropped the tubs twice. If you can fix the kids I will keep buying CountryCrock. But if the lids stay the same I will change to a brand with better lids. Also what have you done to the flavor? I've always gotten the original but I've noticed it tastes different. I am completely disappointed.

How can you call this "Original" when it clearly says "New Simple Recipe"? Like many others, I and my family have been using the REAL Original for over thirty years. And like many others, we absolutely find this "New Simple Recipe" very unpleasant to the taste. It also leaves a lingering aftertaste that is hard to get rid of. No other brands even came close to the Real Original. But now we are left no other option but to try to find something else. I know you changed the recipe to be more politically correct in this healthy minded society. But it is strange that there are a lot of older people, myself included, that are somehow still alive after eating the REAL Original for so long. If it was that bad for you, we would all be dead. As for me and my family; we will never use any product you make again.

The new simple recipe is horrible. My husband and I can't stand it an my children won't eat it either. I had to throw out 2 and a half large tubs. I couldn't even give it away to family members. Pls pls change back to the original version. It's all I have ever used!

I have since used this spread on various foods, like toast and potatoes, and even used it to bake a batch of chocolate chip cookies. The taste is delicious and creamy, it spreads well, and the cookies were delicious. I will be keeping Country Crock Original on hand in my house from now on!
