It has great texture for baking and good flavor. Would recommend. I wouldn't however recommend it for regular everyday butter but that is personal preference. I really enjoyed how easy it was to spread, especially on plain white bread to make grilled cheeses for the kids with. I also used it as a substitute for butter in a cookie recipe and they turned out great!

My 5 year old twins helped make them, so it did get kind of messy.. But the butter itself was creamy and easy to spread. Will buy again! Like many other reviewers, I grew up using Country Crock and have continued using it throughout my adult life. That being said, this new recipe tastes absolutely awful and I am so disappointed that they felt the need to change it at all. Like the saying goes "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!" I will not be buying this product anymore unless it's changed back.

We have used it for baking, toast, and cooking. We were happy with the taste and texture of products that used the Country Crock.

It works great to make grilled cheese sandwiches for my daughter and to flavor green beens. The only use where it didn't perform greatly was to fry an egg.

I have been using Country Crock for years. This week I had to throw away this new one and buy the store brand butter. I will no longer purchase Country Crock until they change it back. Absolutely horrible. Wish I could get my money back. I think this will definitely hurt them financially. Good luck keeping your loyal customers. This one is gone.
