Now that I know it is, I'm super excited to have another margarine I can eat, particularly one that is less expensive than the other lactose-free options. Its consistency is spot on; it spreads so easily! And the taste is buttery goodness.

For years I've absolutely loved Country Crock. This new version is horrible. My son and I had some of the "old" recipe left and did a side by side comparison and both were disappointed. Texture, taste, and smell were all wrong. Now we're on a search for something else.

I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. My family typically uses butter for its taste and baking, however after trying Country Crock's cookie recipes I am convinced this makes a better cookie and a more versatile batter. Its fresh, creamy taste also can't be beat on a good piece of toast.

I went to the store to buy some Country Crock and noticed it had a new look (container), I put it on my english muffin and noticed a funny taste. So I thought let me google this to see if something had changed. Low and behold they changed the recipe. Yuk, what did you do? I'm going back to real butter immediately!

I was pleasantly surprised with the flavor. I like that it has half the calories of butter and very little fat. The best part was how easy it was to spread on bread and my kids loved it!

I found the original flavor to be the perfect addition to many recipes and will buy regularly! The texture was smooth and creamy. I absolutely love this spread!
