It is easily able to be spread on bread straight out of the fridge, which is great because other brands of butter you typically have to let it sit a little to soften before it can be spread. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product from Influenster for testing purposes. I love Country Crock. It is flavorful and smooth, and spreads easily. There are so many uses for it from baking, cooking, to simply spreading on bread.

Changing the recipe of something that has been a staple for years was a bad decision; You have lost a long time customer. I would compare this to the idea to make Coke taste different in the 80's. Bring back the original formula and stop calling this Original Country Crock. Call it Crock 2.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I only used this product once to review it. After reading the ingredients, I could not figure out what exactly I was eating. While there are a bunch of buzz words and claims on the packaging, the product does not seem to be a good alternative to butter at all! I’ll stick to the real deal!

The main ingredient of the countrycrock original blend is plant based oil, water, and salt. There are no artificial flavors and preservation. I contain palm oil that makes it easy to spread. It spreads easily on toast and tastes amazing. I love the flavor. My toddler started requesting this spread on her toast now. It comes in a bright and recycling tub. It is gluten-free, cholesterol free, and kosher free as well. I will definitely buy it again and would love to try other flavors as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that this butter is spreadable straight from the fridge. I also loved using it for things when I only needed a tablespoon or less. It's much easier and more convenient than cutting a chunk off a stick and having to put the rest back into the fridge!

I agree with the majority of other commenters that both the new packaging and the new recipe are a major disappointment. I could live with the packaging, but the new taste is just really, really bad. I work in manufacturing, so I understand making changes to reduce costs, but you're seriously going to lose a lot of customers with this, and the ones you pick up for the "healthier" recipe are not going to be enough to replace them. Please learn from the Coke people and go back to your apparently more complicated recipe. Then maybe we can all remember "New Country Crock" as just the terrible nightmare it was.

Perfectly spreadable at all times - even straight from the refrigerator - great on toasts and also with pancakes and waffles. It was also used for a couple of favorite recipes - cakes and cookies - and both turned out delicious. I personally found it a little too salty for my taste though it was perfect for others at home who need that additional zing of salt! Overall, a great product that I would recommend and buy again and store in the fridge to use for those days when I forget to put my regular Irish butter out to be ready for use on toast or for when I run out of my regular butter (my backup!)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is a very tasty & versatile product that I absolutely adore. I use it from everything from baking a sheet of cookies to topping off a slice of regular bread to help make my meal a delicious, well round meal.

Anyone who uses Country Crock for a long time has now noticed the flavor change and your food taste like that flavor. Mac and cheese tadte aweful, eggs etc.. They changed the ingredients in it and it is nasty. I know this, I use to merchandise it and had to go through a complete PK training in Atlanta for it.
