[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was recently able to try Country Crock Original Butter in the space saver container as a result of receiving a free product for my unbiased review. The texture is so creamy and easy to work with while baking or cooking. The container is smaller so it fits easily in the fridge compartment in my door, but that doesn't mean it loses any volume or ounces, and it certainly doesn't lose any taste. The butter itself is delicious and is the perfect topping to bread, muffins, or other goods. It is also a great addition to any recipe. I would definitely recommend it to others and I would buy it again.

I have been happily using this product for many years. I recently purchased the new tub that is rectangle, and thought, ooh I like the new shape! That evening I made mac n cheese and it tasted funny. Our family are BIG mac n cheese eaters and evwryone that comes over loves when I make it. Not only did I not like it, but my husband and son did not like it. Not wanting to waste the food, I offered it to our 3 rotweillers, who refused to eat it. So I put it outside for the nightly visitors to enjoy. Imagine my surprise when a stray dog, a dumped cat, and 2 opposums refused to eat the food! The only change was the "new and improved" Shed's Spread. This stuff is going into the trash. If this company does not bring back the original they will lose many loyal customers. If you want to add this new product to your line up, put it under a different label....it is NOT the original! Right now I am headed to the store to find a suitable replacement so I don't disappoint an autistic birthday boy this weekend!

The taste is real and comes from real ingredients. It also happens to be Gluten Free, contains no artificial perservatives, 0g of trans fat per serving, no partially hydrogenated oils and no cholesterol per serving.

I use country crock as a spread on toast, bagels and as a substitute in baking for butter. I recently made pancakes and used country crock instead of butter and it came out great. I love that it's easy to spread even straight out of the fridge. It also tastes great. Very similar to butter.

Such a great taste & my family loves it! I am obsessed and will not be purchasing any other butter. And I just read that the container is reusable, how cool! The spread is the best part as it's always soft and creamy. It's easy to cook with, or just using on bagel or bread. I can't wait to try in cookies!

I have been eating this all my life and now it's horrible. What a shame. It ruined my family breakfast. I tossed out my jelly cause I thought it was bad. Then I had corn on the cob for lunch and that's when I realized it was the butter!! Ruined lunch too! Why on earth would you change the recipe?? So very disappointed.

I have always used Country Crock butter products and more so use the spreadable butter, the actual butter. There are butter products that are mainly vegetable oil spread. I prefer to pay a little more out of pocket for the real deal.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received my Country Crock free full sized sample 2 days ago that in itself was amazing. Tried it for breakfast on my muffin it spread so smooth. Loved the consistency and the buttery taste was very satisfying. Felt like I was eating something special without the guilt.

The original flavor tastes just as good as butter, but is spreadable straight out of the refrigerator. It also works as a substitute for stick butter in baking with no compromise of flavor!
