I have been a loyal customer of country crock since I was a teen. I even got my in laws to use. it. Every person I've talked to that has tasted the new formula has agreed its horrible. It was embarrassing to my wife for making cookies for a friends party and people hated them. They used to be a hit.

My family has been using Country Crock sense I've been born (25 years). Sadly, with this new recipe, we don't like it and are now searching for a new butter. If I wanted my butter to be healthier, I would of done that, but I liked the Original Country Crock the way it was. Now, you've ruined it.

Perfectly spreadable at all times - even straight from the refrigerator - great on toasts and also with pancakes and waffles. It was also used for a couple of favorite recipes - cakes and cookies - and both turned out delicious. I personally found it a little too salty for my taste though it was perfect for others at home who need that additional zing of salt! Overall, a great product that I would recommend and buy again and store in the fridge to use for those days when I forget to put my regular Irish butter out to be ready for use on toast or for when I run out of my regular butter (my backup!)

It tastes just as good as butter and is better for you and easier to use so I like that. It's very easy to spread and use in all kinds of foods. I will be buying this from now on.

Country Crock is easily spread, makes phenomenal grilled cheese (and toast, and anything else), plus they have a great cookie recipe. The cookies came out more cake-like than my standard recipe, and everyone LOVED them! My only complaint would be that Country Crock is so close to being vegan-friendly that I would love if they could take that extra step. Then I could use the product I know and love when I make baked goods for friends!

I love baking so I always need to have butter on hand, but my desserts always felt like they were missing something. I tried out the Country Crock and my PB& J cookies came out delicious and perfect. It just goes to show that you can't replace good butter. Will definitely be buying more.

For me to actually google Country Crock to try to find out what ingrediants changed, you know I can't bear the taste of the "New Simple Recipe". It is simple and so I'm trying to figure out where that awful smell and taste is coming from compared to the "original" recipe. I only hope that Unilever takes heed of these reviews and shuts down this version of Shedd Spread!
