I have always liked that is creamy and smooth compared to sticks of butter, however it had a slightly artificial taste. This new product has an amazing full flavor that won't make you feel guilty after eating or cooking with it. I love love love this!

I used it bake cookies and used #makeityours recipes. I thought the cookies baked up light and fluffy. The kids loved helping pick what to add. We added candy, raisins and sprinkles.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was able to find Country Crock Original very easily in my local store. I made cookies using it. The cookies turned out golden and pretty. They had a nice rich butter taste to them. I love the sweet rich taste. It's not margarine or lard tasting at all. The butter was nice and fresh looking and super easy to get off the spoon and spread around in my cookie mix. The butter blended in and I had it all mixed in no time. i didn't have to wait on it to warm up before adding to my mix long at all. My son tried it straight out of the fridge on a piece of toast and it spread perfectly. I am very happy with Country Crock Original and will continue to use it.

I loved the round tubs of the original Country Crock and the flavor it had. This new square tub I don't like and the flavor is so different and changes the flavor of whatever you put it in for the worse. I always bought the biggest tub of original crock butter at least 1 a month and sometime 2 tubs a month. I want the tubs back with that flavor that enhanced the flavor in everything you put it in.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] COMMENTS: Thank you for giving me the chance to report my opinion of your new-formulation Country Crock spread. I assume the formulation is new; not much is mentioned about WHY the product is being distributed for sampling. First of all, I approve of the taste. Country Crock products generally do a fine job in this department. Here, your software only lets me rate the taste at 4 stars; I'd prefer to rate it higher, at 4.5 stars. There are no off-tastes, in contrast to some popular margarines that (per your request) I'll refrain from mentioning. The only failing is that the Country Crock samples seem to me a bit too salty. The saltiness became apparent after a few seconds' delay and perhaps lends a popcorn butter component to the overall flavor. As for mouth feel and texture, the spread seems to lack density, almost to the point of appearing markedly less viscous than other whipped spreads I've tried. This is apparent on bread and rolls. The Country Crock product did make a nice, rich cheese sauce for a mac and cheese plate, however.

We have used Country Crock Original for years. Really liked the sticks but our store stopped stocking them so we had to buy the tub which was OK since the taste was the same. Just purchased the "new" formula. If you do not change it back to the real original we will by another brand. Sorry but the new formula is awful.

I received a tub of country crock original to try with my family from Influenster. It is fabulous! I used it to spread on Texas toast to griddle into amazing grilled cheese with American and Swiss slices and I'll say that griddled buttery taste was to die for! Will definitely keep this butter around I had no idea it tasted so good!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've stayed away from this brand for years due to all the unknown ingredients inside it, however the new blend I have no problem feeding my family. Contrycrock I will now consider you over my other favorite yellow container.

I was interested in buying this product until I read the ingredient list. How can you tout this as plant based? It is a highly processed product. Dr Mark Hyman MD you is well know in Natural Space has a book called Eat Fat Get Thin, this book has a list of healthy fats to consume margarine is not a that list.
