I also love that it can be used in baking and won't compromise the flavor or texture of the cookies. I recently used the Country Crock One Simple Recipe to make cookies for my family and they were a hit! I will definitely continue to use this product. Please note that I received this product free for testing and review, but all opinions are completely my own.

I have been using Country Crock Original for almost 35 yrs. I really liked the way it tasted, but when they changed the container they changed the taste. I don't like the way it tastes or the way it works in my cooking. If you had a good product why change it. The changes that were made to the original recipe were not for the better in my opinion. Please bring back the original recipe.

I received a coupon to try COuntry Crock from Influenster in exchange for an honest review. All Country Crock products are great tasting. They taste very similar to butter. They are wonderful for baking because t is much more affordable than real butter and some Country Crock products are heart healthy (depending on the oil used to make it). I remember my mombuying COuntry Crock years ago in the round tan containers. We loved it & used it all the time. And to follow tradition, I still buy it for my home & I am now a grandma. Any product that can last this long on the market proves it is a quality and reliable item. Try it. You won't be disappointed.

It's wonderful for making things like grilled cheese sandwiches, coffee cake/ streusel and Apple crumble, where butter would melt too quickly & create sogginess or scorching. I like Country Crock's re-sealable container for preserving freshness & for ease of everyday use, but for use in baking I prefer sticks of butter/shortening for quicker, easier, more accurate measuring & less wasted product. *I was provided with a coupon for a sample quantity of this product (for purposes of product testing and consumer review) via Influenster, however when I went to redeem it (even though it was less than halfway through the promotion period) the coupon they provided me with had already expired and the store wouldn't accept it, so I purchased this item myself. #contest

It's simple ingredients really come out in the flavor. I like it on breads, vegetables, muffins, pancakes, waffles, and have even used it in recipes as well as cooking.
