It's good to cook with because it works almost the same as butter, but that's all I would use it for. It doesn't taste the same as butter when you spread it on bread,muffins,waffles etc. I like that there's always coupons available for it, that's something you can't find for regular butter. I'll buy it if there's a deal for it, but if there isn't then I'll be sticking to my usual. I received this product free for testing, but all opinions stated are my own.

It's not rock hard when cold and not runny when left at room temperature. Not extremely salty and not super sweet. It's the perfect blend and has never failed me in my 26yrs. Of life. Now I'm not sure when we started using Country crock but I definitely know that it's been part of our family for at least 20yrs. My family is full of amazing cooks and I, ex-chef, absolutely love how this butter enhances our meals.

I bought a new tub and didn't realize they had changed the taste. I just thought they changed the container. When I tasted it I thought I got a bad batch. I bought another smaller tub later and tried it again and then realized they had changed the ingredients. I do not like the new taste. I guess I will have to find another brand to use. They should have just made a separate product if they wanted to make it healthier and let people make their own decision on which one to buy.

Country crock original butter is the ultimate addition to any recipe...reminds me of being in my grandmo hers kitchen, waiting for a fresh loaf of homemade bread to come out of the oven! I tried Country Crock in a cookie recipe, on a baked potato, on toast and to make mashed potatoes, and found it to be creamy and wonderful, each and every time. Very Tasty!

However this new spread is totally different. It does not feel unnatural and is totally delicious to use on anything. I can say country crock is my go to once again !

It has a great price and can be easily found at grocery stores. My mom uses it,my sisters do,I do and I hope one day so do my kids! I have never had a problem with this brand. Try it,you won't regret it and they've different types to suit every one of you!

Its too oily for me and its chemically modified version of butter and it leaves a flim on your food and its not a good tast i dont want butter made of vegetable oil i like it made out of milk straight from the cow thats how butter is supposed to be nothing added to it. Tastes great.
