The flavor is very good. There is No artificial butter taste at all. I will continue to purchase country crock, bowl butter or sticks, all are good. Our family used the "Make it Yours" cookie recipe from the Country Crock site and they were a huge hit. We split the dough and let everyone create their own. We had thumb print, s'mores, and my favorite cranberry-pecan-darkchocolate. The buttery taste of Country Crock really came through. Thanks for a great product. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's been a very long time since I've purchased Country Crock. I use butter when it's called for and occasionally when we have a big breakfast with "all the fixin's" --Usually we don't go through 4 sticks of butter in a month. That being said I was given the opportunity to try Country Crock Original Buttery Spread free of charge, so I had nothing to loose revisiting this item. I do like the new tubs as they are easier to fit into the fridge. They are also easier to open with the little tab. This product has a mild, buttery taste, is easy to spread after just a short time out of the fridge, it has a nice mouth feel. Economically, its less expensive per ounce (in my area) than real butter which may be a bonus to some households. It seems to bake well as a butter substitute, but it is different. My tastebuds weren't fooled. I will use the tub I have but likely will not be putting it back on my grocery list any time soon.

Using Country Crock was much easier to use than sticks of butter due to it's smoothness and easiness to mix! I love how with the #MakeItYours recipe, you can use lots of different add-in's to make different types of cookies!

It's been awhile since I bought margerine. I just don't use it and I like butter better. However, after trying Country Crock Original, I can say it's as tasty on toast, in oatmeal, on baked sweet potatoes...I could go on and on! I will still use butter for my baking, but as an everyday staple, Country Crock has got my business from now on!

I received A coupon for a free country crock butter for my unbiased review by influenster and I am glad I did. I never thought butter can be so satisfying. It's is very creamy easy to spread out. It taste really good, even my parents felt the difference compared to a brand of butter we buy. I do recommend the butter and it is not super expensive!

This butter is just okay. I do like the fact that it is easy to spread, but to me it tastes like it is oily. I don’t sit around and just eat big spoonfuls of butter, but when I add butter to my food I would like for it to taste like butter and not a bland vegetable oil flavor. Country Crock Original Spread

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free from Influenster and I love it. My entire family loves using Country Crock Original in the morning for breakfast and dinner. I love the taste and how its not too salty like other products.

I have used Country Crock for many years and nothing else. I picked up a new container thinking that I was getting the original that I normally buy but that it was just in a different container. I was surprised to taste that it was different. My family did not like the taste. I went back to the store to see if I could find what I normally buy, but I found out that they are not going to have this anymore. I am so disappointed! Now I will have to try to find a new spread that my whole family will like. So sad to see you changed the formula. Please reconsider still producing the original.
