[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free to test and I have to say I will definitely purchase again! It's creamy and spreadable and tastes delicious! Perfect for everything from greasing a pan to baking cookies to spreading on bread!

We are a family of 8 and have used nothing but country crock original butter! The first container I bought of the new recipe, I threw it away. I didn't read the label that said new recipe. Everyone that used it said "ugh the butter taste bad." So I threw it and bought a new container, well it was the same!!! That's when I realized that is was a new recipe! We try forcing ourself to eat it, but we can't. We try over and over again but the taste gets us sick!! It even makes things that we bake taste bad!! We can not tolerate the new taste. I had to go to the store and buy different brands of butter to find a replacement. NO other butter is as good as the old country crock recipe, but NO other butter is worse then the new country crock recipe!!!!! My family all agreed the Blue Bonnet brand is as close as we can get to the original Country Crock. So until the orginal country crock is brought back Blue Bonnet will be our butter of choice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has a good flavor and always soft even after being in the refrigerator but it cooks weird. It melts in a pan into a film. A film almost like when you would put glue on your hands as a kid and then peel it off. It’s quite odd. I can remove the film with a spatula and continue to cook but it was just such an odd experience.

As a whole, the product does what I need it do to when I use it. I love the new container though, easier fit in the fridge!

That's not good when you're looking for butter to cook or bake with. I usually would have never picked up Country Crock unless I was given it for review purposes! The new, simpler recipe changed my entire outlook on spreads. No milk, healthy oils, no preservatives, artificial colors or flavors!! I was hoping his would work for my little girl and our family. It's been a full 2 weeks of using the Country Crock Original Spread and there have been absolutely NO allergic reactions at all! In fact, she begs for "her" butter on everything now! It tastes pure, creamy and just like real butter but with 80% less fat! Country Crocks new simpler recipe has made this Mom and her little girl so happy!!

Simplier ingredients, easy to spread, and tastes like my childhood. I love the new rectangular shape, it takes up less room. I received a free product for my unbiased review

This has always been a staple in our kitchen as I was growing up, and it still is in my own kitchen now. It spreads on bread without ripping it, and it tastes great. It makes for a good crust on a grilled cheese and it melts well on warm dinner rolls.

I love the taste, the creamyness of it. Its really easy to spread. I enjoy using this product very much so.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am typically a butter user but decided to give Country Crock Original a try- and I was surprised at how tasty it was! And it's very convenient to be fresh tasting and spreadable straight from the fridge.

We've been using Country Crock for a number of years ... bought it first because of the pricing ... once we used it, we found it was as good, if not better in many cases, as the higher priced, bigger name dairy spreads. It our primary choice now and tomorrow!!!!!
