Although I'm happy with this margarine - I have used it for me and my family - I am highly upset by the price increase !!! That is absolutely outrageous!!

- 5 out of 5 stars review1/13/2017My parents served us Country Crock as kids, but I don't remember it tasting like this as a kid! It's smoothness makes it easy to add it to toast and the taste is just plain delicious! My 10 year old son was raised on pure butter, but when I spread Country Crock on his toast the other day, he even said it was delicious! He noticed the difference and now prefers it over butter.
I don't remember Country Crock tasting like this a

I love the packaging, stores so perfectly in our fridge. As for the actual taste, it works well with all our cooking needs and I prefer a spread as opposed to a stick anyways.
The only buttery spread my family uses.

It is creamy and melts perfectly when needed. Definitely one of my top 3 favorite butters!
So creamy and perfect for baking!
Originally posted oncountrycrock.com - 2 out of 5 stars review5/30/2017I tried Country Crock and found it easy to spread and measure. It is alway soft and melts very easily over vegetables and mashed potatoes, but I am a butter lover and just can't change. I received a complimentary product for testing purposes and all opinions are my own.

It's spreadable and creamy texture is enjoyable and tasty. It's simple ingredients really come out in the flavor. I like it on breads and vegetables.

The butter melted and browned just the way I needed it to and these turned out to be seriously probably the best cookies I have ever had.
Best cookies ever

So, when I was offered the chance to try it out again I decided to go down memory road. It still has the same taste and spreadable texture that I remember, but less of the yucky ingredients. While I will use this for some things, I will still use butter mostly in our home.
They're doing better!
DdoubleLOriginally posted onCountry CrockCsr ServicesThanks for going down memory road again with us. We are happy to hear you gave us another try, however we do understand that ... - 1 out of 5 stars review8/12/2015First of all this is zero star worthy without a doubt. I have never written a review for any product before, never felt I really needed to, but this "New Recipe" is so bad that I honestly can not imagine how it got out of the testing trials...were there any? No really I'd love to know because this stuff is completely inedible as in it literally ruins whatever food you just had the unfortunate experience to have placed in your mouth. How much money has gone into this reinvention of the brand, and don't give me that it's simpler, more pure ingredients. I have used the old Country Crock for as long as I can remember, but this stuff? How about no. Somebody over there come to your senses and get a grip because this stuff is disaster.
Revolting is too nice a word for this review

My family loved it! It has great taste, texture and was easy for the little ones to spread. We will continue to purchase this brand.
Family Favorite!

I was surprised to see that they have improved a lot of ingredients. I used to be very resistant to margarine but I am happy to use this in my recipes and serve to my family! I love that it can be used for baking as well because butter is much more expensive and not exactly a healthy option.
Delicious!
VintageModMomOriginally posted oncountrycrock.com - 4 out of 5 stars review7/12/2021I grew up using country crock, and it has a lot of nostalgia for me. The flavor is smooth and butter, and it spreads really easily. I don't use it often now, but it is still used frequently at holiday dinners with my family. It is a good stand in for regular butter.
I grew up using
heatherv9478Originally posted oninfluenster.com - 4 out of 5 stars review1/20/2017[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free in exchange for an honest review. I enjoy the country crock spread. I love it on bread and rolls, and I also think it makes great cookies and baked goods. Will definitely be buying in the future.
Love it!
MeggybooOriginally posted onCountry Crock - 1 out of 5 stars review10/16/2015County Crock used to be our favorite, but we really dislike the new recipe, not to mention the marketing strategy that's supposed to make you think it's better or more "original" than the original! We have been trying other competitor brands lately, but really miss the old County Crock. Please bring it back! This is one family you've lost otherwise.
My family hates the new County Crock

Country Crock has always been my go to butter choice. I love the buttery flavor and how easily it spreads on bread. It’s melts perfectly over noodles or veggies too!
Buttery Good was!
NattymsuOriginally posted onCountry Crock - 5 out of 5 stars review3/26/2016[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This spread has been used in my family as long as I can remember. It has a great taste and is the perfect addition to any recipe. I won't use another. I received compensation/free product for my unbiased review.
Love it!
HRAllenOriginally posted oncountrycrock.com - 5 out of 5 stars review3/14/2016I received a free tub of Country Crock Original from Influenster to try out and review. I was definitely not disappointed! I loved the rich creamy taste and texture! This product was great on a variety of things including topping on our family's popcorn for movie night, butter on top of mashed potatoes, and a rich creamy spread on fresh italian bread. This is such a great product! I will definitely be purchasing this product when my sample tub is gone!
Great creamy taste!
imahaeffner26Originally posted onCountry Crock - 5 out of 5 stars review11/22/2016[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always used many different types of butter and spreads when cooking and baking and could never find the right one. Then I came across this one, it is so delicious and so easy to apply and use. Definetly will recommend others to try.
Really lightweight and tasty
WazimesOriginally posted onCountry Crock - 1 out of 5 stars review9/7/2015You couldn't have been paying too close of attention ... as the reason we were dedicated to Country Crock in the first place was the taste. This product is definitely a miss ... I hope you enjoy feeling the loss of revenue. Maybe it really is healthier, because until I find another spread I'll be eating less foods requiring it.
You say you listened to the customers ....
Totally PerturbedOriginally posted onCountry Crock - 3 out of 5 stars review10/29/2015My mom used country crock so I do, 43 yrs and it's all I've known. New brands have come, none ever tasted as good. Giving consumers options to eat better is a great thing. Along side all those people who have poor diets are those of us who don't, and you've taken away our right to choose. No matter what, country crock isn't responsible for all the obesity on the planet, but they are responsible for how a simple ingredients change has effected every single recipe that I make. I don't drink or smoke or do drugs, a little original Country Crock isn't that terrible for me. I appaud their efforts but hope they will give everyone back their right to choose.

Speed907Originally posted onCountry Crock - 1 out of 5 stars review10/10/2015I wish I could give this product zero stars- it is just THAT bad! This new recipe is definitely not an improvement- why did they mess with the original spread when there was nothing wrong with it? The "old" recipe allowed me to make great grilled cheese, waffles and pancakes without sticking to my pans. Everything sticks when I use this new spread. Even resorting to Pam, which alone, works fine as a non-stick spray, but its non-stick abilities are neutralized by this "simpler" recipe spread. I've had to throw away bread, cheese, pancakes and such because it would stick so bad. I shouldn't have to waste food over an inferior product. Bring back the ORIGINAL Country Crock!!! Hundreds of complaints can't be wrong.
Ruins grilled cheese, waffles and pancakes!
