We have purchased 2 packages of these steaks, enough to feed the family, as we have often done over the past couple of years. This time the price was $8.98 lb. They appeared thick and nice in the package. When we got home my husband opened them they were not trimmed well. He trimmed off about 12 oz of fat on 12 steaks. Wish I could add a picture of the to this review.

Excellent cut of meat. This is now my first choice for a steak. Lean but not dry with hardly any waste. It's thick cut makes it almost impossible to over-cook without trying to do so. It also taste great after being frozen. I think this is due to both its quality and thickness.

In the last year I’ve bought at least 100 Sirloin steak's and they have been mostly okay. This batch had so much grissle and sinue it was unable to be chewed so most of it ended up in the trash. We will be trying different stores for a while before we try these again.

I've been buying Sam's Top Sirloin steaks for about a year now. 95% of the time they are great, little or no waste. But make sure to feel the steaks as twice I got them home, took them out of the package and found that all together there were 4 that were completely unusable. Hard fat covered the bottom, about 1/2 inch thick. Sad, as I thought Sam's was above the tricks of regular grocery stores, but I was wrong. Maybe it's just the one who cuts them, but for shame. That said, I still buy about 2 packs per month and brought the unusable ones back. I'll take a good top sirloin over a filet mignon anytime.

Crap, all grislte through out

Incredibly tough. Fresh and decent flavor but you better have good teeth and jaws to chew.

These were just the right thickness to cook through. No too thick. Just right.
