I've had better and worse, really no sour flavor, also asked bakery to slice, which they advised me they are not able to. I used toasted n regular neither made a difference, won't be buying again.

Love the sourdough bread just wish they would bring back the bread bowls for soup! Especially in fall in winner for soup season we need the four pack of bread bowls back!!

Overall a good bread for many uses. Soups, sandwiches, toast, and grilling are some of its top uses. And, it appears that the bread lasts many days past the marked "best by" date.

Great original sourdough bread taste. The only downside is It’s difficult for my wife to cut the slices with the knife due to her arm and shoulder injury. But love thr taste.

Tastes like sourdough bread. 4 stars because it’s a little too big and not sliced. It’s a pain in the neck to slice because it’s so large. Maybe I need one of those bread slicing guides.

Excellent. And to eat it at home like its fresh from the oven, run water over top of it, put it in the oven at 350 for 10-15 min and it comes out crunchy on the outside , soft on the inside...

I wanted the sliced bread, but they were out. I thought I could slice this…WRONG! I used a bread knife, 4 other types with NO diggers. I ended up opening my new electric knife. Nope! I had to try to rip through the crust to then use the electric knife. Bottom line, I ended up with a bunch of dry bread crumbs, a mess, and obtained 3 slices…that are falling apart!

We've been buying this bread for months, use it for sandwiches, snacking, soups, whatever. It previously was sold in a clear, plastic bag. Now, it is being sold at my local Sam's in a brown paper bag, and the bread is rock hard. If I cut off a part one night, try to close the bag up tightly, and come back the next day, it's incredibly hard and even hard to cut through. This was never an issue with the old packaging :(

Sam's… WHY did you change the packaging? This was the BEST sourdough. We bought it nearly every trip… The new paper packaging makes the bread HARD AS A ROCK. I have a photo of it with a 10lb weight sitting on top and the bead doesn't even budge. Unfortunately, the app won't let me upload the photo. 🫤

I used to really like this sourdough bread and bought it very frequently. But I just purchased some this past week and it was hard as a rock because now you put it in some kind of paper bag and it must've really dried the bread out. I could hardly slice it. It was so hard and the taste quality went downhill as well. Is it no longer made in the store? Why the change and taste and quality?
