K-Duo

horrible brewing/came broken, it was shipped and live far away from Sams club to return. When brewing it gets coffee grounds all over. Very disappointed. K-cup section works just fine.

I wish I had paid more attention to the details

The unit makes great coffee but it missing some simple features. I would have chosen the Hamilton beach flex brew if I had studied this closer. You have to push 4 buttons to make a carafe of coffee. (power,carafe or cup, # of cups, and brew) EVERY morning. Not worth it! Also, the add water light drives me nuts. The plate warmer can not be reset to add two more hours. Very annoying. The auto feature is only for single cup brewing. I am dissappointed.

Problem? Keurig will leave you hanging

We bought the Duo a little over a year ago. Descaled step by step as they directed. How full the cup gets is Russian Roulette. Sometimes a 12 oz setting gives us 1/2 cup and other times it overflows. A 10 oz setting gives us a perfect 12 oz cup and other times 1/2 tob3/4 cup. Teaching Keurig was not easy, but we persisted. After a half hour+ call going thru a lengthy check, we were basically brushed off with the comment that we were over warranty and it was our problem. Very dissapointing. Guess we will have to look for a replacement from a company that will stand behind their product.

The K-Duo will disappoint you.

This coffee maker is a huge disappointment. I purchased it for it's size, because it is less than 13" tall and fits perfectly in the space we have for it in our kitchen. That's the end of the good things I have to say about it. After about a month, the brewer started to slow down. So I descaled it. This caused the brewer to stop pumping water. Keurig was good to work with to get a warranty replacement. However, the warranty replacement has done the same thing. I descaled it and now it is not working. It will not even pump any water through it. I do not recommend this to anyone.

Only 1 reason I can't give this 5 stars...

We're coming up on a month since purchase and love everything about this except the carafe. No matter what we try, it leaks during the pour, so we have to pour over the sink, or we find ourselves having to wipe up more than a dribble on the counter. I plan to contact Keurig to see if there are tips or tricks or if this is a design flaw. Given that the replacement carafes are "out of stock" on their website, I'm leaning toward a design flaw or a glitch with the manufacturing process. Otherwise, it is my favorite coffee maker to date... and I've been making coffee at home for 40 years! You'll get great-tasting, HOT coffee, fast, plus it's stylish and easy to use. I do recommend that you only make the amount you plan to drink within 45 (or less) as this kind of carafe isn't designed to maintain coffee temps for long periods of time. We like our coffee fresh and would rather make a second 6 or 8 cups - or a single! - vs. leave it on the heating plate to get bitter or burned.)

Kcups side

This will be my second return in about 2 months. The first machine leaked all down beside my electric stove and I traded it for the same one at Sam's only to get one that 6 out of 10 kcups of all different types explode inside maker. Kcups are too expensive to never know if it'll explode or not.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY

My husband bought this for me and within a month it stopped working properly. If you set it for 12 cups, you might get 8. I've tried everything from descaling to attempting to see if the water is getting caught somewhere. I wish we had known sooner! This is garbage and I'm completely disappointed in Kuerig for putting out such a defective product.

Brand New No filter included

Just bought the Keurig Duo S Model to replace the original Gen 1 (that has been amazing over the last 10 years). We were at Sams Club and saw this model on Instant Savings. We opened the box this morning only to discover the model unit DOES NOT include the filter, and no where on the outside packaging does it say FILTER NOT INCLUDED, disappointing. As a consumer I would rather have all the parts included verses the complimentary coffee that was included. The water filter in our opinion is a key operating part to protect the pump inside the unit. One reason for purchasing this was for the cafe' option. In addition the location of the water resevior is in the back not on the side. Therefore depending on the space you have to place the coffee maker, the location of the water resevior maybe an issue. After reading some negative reviews, I guess time will tell if this unit will stand the test of time as our prior unit Gen 1. As far as recommending this product, WARNING All parts are not included. As far as longevity worth the money, as mention only time will tell. I hope Keurig will take note of consumers when purchasing would greatly apprecaite for the money being spent, to include all key operating components that is needed for the the coffee maker to work effectively.

don't buy, bad product

I loved this coffee maker at first. Then we noticed the carafe leaks and pours almost a whole cup of coffee on the counter, I dealt with the clean up because I liked the machine. Now, I have had this product for only 11 months, the hot plate has stopped working and the coffee is lukewarm within 15 minutes of brewing, it's garbage. Don't waste your money.
