the man was over 1 and a half hrs late supposed to be there @10am arrived @11:39 was there for 25 minutes or so i was not there my fiancee was i recieveda text saying ths is Angie your technician is ask for 2 more hours to be able to finish the job do i approve yes or no so of course i called my house they said i guess so i approved it for another 40.63 plus the 85.00 i already paid... okay then as soon as I said yes in just a couple minutes I get a text from home he's done and gone already. so he arrived at11:39 done the job got an additional 41.00 out of me and was gone by12:20 pretty much a rip off I'd say

My first experience with Angi service, which is who Walmart farms out the installation to, and wow, over 10 days and no work done. Kept getting rescheduled multiple times, we finally got a refund for the installation and did the work ourselves. Word to the wise, if you can possibly do it yourself, save yourself the hassle of installation that goes through Angi!! I’ll never use the service again

I CALLED WALMART AND WAS TOLD I HAD TO CALL ANGI TO DIRECTLY CANCELED THE ANGI INSTALLATION BECAUSE THEY WANTED MORE THAN 200 MORE DOLLARS TO HANG MY TV EVEN THOUGH I'D ALREADY PAID WALMART 79 DOLLARS. I WAS TOLD THAT IT WOULD REIMBURSE MY MONEY. I AM STILL WAITING FOR A CONFIRMATION THAT MY MONEY HAS BEEN RETURNED. I WILL NEVER ORDER INSTALLATION THROUGH WALMART AS LONG AS THEY USE ANGI.

I did not order this service and it took an act of Congress to cancel. It was added to my purchase and I was charged for it when I purchased my tv. Now I have to wait 7 to 10 days for a refund. This is the first time I am disappointed with my Walmart plus, and I hope it is the last time I am disappointed.

DO NOT TRUST THIS…. You will regret it!

Would love to give zero stars. This was a joke. Don’t fall for it. It’s thru Angie/walmart. They schedule the appt and give you no option. So I re-arranged my schedule. Three hours before the tech was to show up I got an email canceling. They rescheduled for 2.5 days later. Again I had to re-arrange my schedule. This time losing out on theater tickets. This time the tech canceled 28 minutes before his scheduled time. He told me straight out Walmart does not pay them enough to do this job. I demanded my money back. It will take 10 business days to get it. This is a complete waste and somewhat of a scam. Do not do it!!

You can’t reach them to talk to anyone. Only chat. They changed their scheduled appointment 6 minutes before it was to start and then changed it to a weekday. This won’t work but I just received a notification they are coming today anyway with no way to reach out. Would not recommend this servuce

The tech notifies me of being outside and never showed up. Inconveniencing my time from 3p.m to 9 p.m. he never showed up. Then I was rescheduled automatically for a whole week from now. I will not recommend anyone to use this service when the schedule you for a 9 p.m. installation time.

FIVE DIFFERENT APPOINTMENTS!!!!!!!!! STILL NO MOUNTED TV! This is absolutely RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm tired of giving my information, story, situation, past incompetency information of the past "pros" every time I call in for yet another new appointment. WHAT ON EARTH IS GOING ON !? SAVE YOURSELF a MAJOR HEADACHE and go to Thumbtack, or your local NEIGHBORHOOD to find someone who knows how to install a TV mount! The first guy had Walmart as my address (didn't show up obviously)...he rescheduled to another guy, who came, came alone... ummm it's a 75 inch tv... the third guy, came ALONE again, and said "um, we usually install these into wood"... okay, so I am putting it in brick. whats the issue? Your incompetent to put it into brick? I CAN do it why cant a "pro" figure this out? The 3rd guy came (whined about driving over an hour to get here) don't know why he came from so far... not my fault... but came ALONE... the 4th appointment was a no-call no-show... (of course I had to contact Angi each time there was an issue) now I had to call AGAIN and explain this story yet another time and today is scheduled.. we'll see what happens (if I can. I will update the saga of my TV) that I haven't been able to watch for over A MONTH!... thanks Angi.. (NOT)! Would be nice to be able to enjoy my new TV WALMART!!!!!! If you don't have competent help, don't assign it! Each time I had an appointment, I had to rearrange my days schedule.. how about Walmart and Angi reimburse ME for MY lost time?? Thats time I'll NEVER get back in my life... just sayin'! I happen to value my life VERY MUCH!!!

Could have found better mounting services myself

The pro didn’t bother to read or use the instructions for the mount. Nor did he use the screws that came with it. He kept blaming the problem on the mount not being the right size for standard housing wall studs. He had to leave %26 return later with an assistant. I requested that the job be completed as I knew it wasn’t my house’s structure nor the standard mount that was correct for my tv size. So I ended up with numerous holes in my burgundy colored wall. No patch up or anything. Tv is mounted but is very unstable and I feel like it can’t be touched or moved (it’s supposed to swivel).
