Ordered television mounting installation service but cancelled due to shady business practice by Angi. After ordering the mounting service for $79, the technician texted me to state that mounting above a fireplace would be an extra $85 in cash paid directly to him, despite me telling him that no such exclusions or extra costs were disclosed on the website. His response was that "they never mentioned that part" on the website. I contacted Angi customer service to question this technician's statement, and customer service thanked me for contacting them about this interaction. Customer Service affirmed that a customer pays for the total service upbfront and that no additional charges should be paid to anyone. They further suggested that I have the technician reach out to customer service to discuss this policy. When I heard this, I immediately cancelled the service. Buyer beware, there are shady technicians and subcontractors working under the Angi brand.

I am not a paid reviewer. I was super freaking sketched about the idea of using this service based on the reviews I was reading of being not hearing back from them. But I got the email 1 to 2 days after purchasing the service. It was beyond easy through the whole process I got a booking are you scheduled for me that time did not work for me so I just was able to go back in and reschedule on my time I got a beyond wonderful person to come install. The one thing I will say is sometimes they get different times to be at your place so I would recommend being at home an hour before my guy (mark) ended up showing up before it was even the time that I picked 11 but he was super understanding, called me. I told him my situation, how I was like 10 minutes away, and he waited for me and the whole process up and setting it up was easy he made it look so easy. So anyone thinking about purchasing please ignore the negative reviews because that’s what almost stopped me from doing this myself

So very convenient and helpful! Happy we booked the handy man, it would have been extremely difficult to do on our own. The handy man was super great, professional and friendly. One hundred percent recommend and will definitely use again in the future.

Minus 5 stars. This was a horrible experience! Two scheduled appointments missed, no call or explanation as to why. Contacted Handy asking why they were no shows and a foreign individual, whose english was barely discernible, said the professional had a problem with the address. After asking why they didn't call to verify address and directions, he said there was also a problem with the phone and asked me to hold. Several mins later I was told they would have to reschedule. I explained that was not acceptable, especially as this was the second time I was inconvenienced and put off. I further stated that I had given them the correct address and phone and was available, waiting, and it was not my fault the professional was given the wrong address and phone number. At this point, he gave me the professional's phone number. The professional explained he had attempted to call the number given him in regards to the service call this morning, only to find out it was a wrong number. He said he would be glad to work me in that afternoon. The professional was extremely polite and efficient with his service. The problem is with the 3rd party vendor scheduling and transmitting the correct information to the professional! If Walmart is going to outsource this service, they should at least find people who speak plain english and are competent. Definitely would not recommend to anyone.

Walmart used Angi for tv install. Installer showed up as scheduled, but said TV was too big for him to install alone. I never received a refund or the install service. Both Walmart and Angi were near impossible to deal with once the issue came up. Nobody knew how to reschedule or refund. Terrible service.

Poor service, guy was in so much rush. He didn't do a clean job, left everything in a mess, and almost scratched kitchen counter and floor. Guy didn't even give me a chance to adjust the tilt and I'm not very sure how to do it. Not sure, if the TV is even properly balanced and secured. Dissatisfied. Want my money back.

This is scam, they took my money i was never able to log into their app. i got 4 text message's confirming the technician was coming at 6:30 pm and this person never showed up , of course is non refundable and getting someone to answer the phone is impossible. i spent 2 hrs on hold this morning to confirm that they were still coming even though i couldn't log into their app because my order was place through walmart and the person on the phone assured me they were coming and that the reason why I couldn't see it on the app was because they don't have that feature yet. Im still on hold to let them know that nobody showed up and they just keep transferring me . This is horrible and such a waste of time will never book anything through walmart again . Hope the $80 was worth it 😡

handy App arranged for Bill to come out . He was Friendly , very Informative and Neat ! He was so helpful when it came to Questions and he did a Amazingly Awesome job! I will be Recommending him to all my friends and family for their installation needs !

Horrible experience, samsclub did not send any emails of digital delivery, i reached angi they said we did not receive anything. Almost a week going back and forth. I finally had someone else install tv, samsclub saying they don’t return digital order, well i did not receive anything. I am going report this as fraudulent charges.

it does not include mount. I just spent 80 bucks to have the guy come out and realize that they don't bring it they just install it. so it's not mount and installation. it's just installation itself. I know it says TV mounting AND installation but not true have to buy a mount too.
