I have to say I was thoroughly impressed with the quick response and shipment of missing pieces for my daughters basketball hoop! 2 calls and it was shipped!! Thank Goodness- now she has something to do!!!

I RECENTLY BOUGHT THE BASKETBALL HOOP AND IN PUTTING IT TOGETHER I NEEDED REPLACEMENT OF THE METAL POSTS. LIFETIME WAS VERY HELPFUL AND THEY IMMEDIATELY HONORED MY REQUEST TO SEND ME THE POSTS. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE LIKE THIS IS OFTEN RARE.

This is a pain to put together, but the product is very sturdy and seems durable. The handle makes adjusting the height easy enough for my 13 year-old son to do it alone. The large base is certainly necessary to balance out the 10' height. Good buy.

This is a nice product. I put this together two days ago, it took a couple of hours to complete. When I started the second phase of the assembly I panicked because what I had put together in phase 1 didn’t match the illustrations in phase 2! After looking at all the illustrations I realized that the illustrations of where the pole bracket mounts on the pole are wrong in phase 2 of the assembly manual.

I can’t believe that I paid over $450 for this and it was missing a bolt. I had to go to Lowe’s to buy a similar bolt and I needed to get it cut to the right size. Also, the instructions QR code goes to a different model goal. It’s our second day of trying to put this thing together. I had higher expectations for this brand and for this price.

Easy to put together, nice hoop, and it looks great. Purchased this hoop for my son's birthday. After a few years, it is falling apart. Maybe its me but I have never had any luck with any non-perish type items from SAMS. Basketball hoop, trampoline, etc. They all look great and function fine but have quality issues. It sad when your neighbors have purchased cheaper items and they last longer than yours!!! I even store it during the winter in my garage. Appearance doesn't always equate to a quality product!!!

How can it take 4 guys 2 1/2 hours to assemble? So of course, the wife has to jump in and say, "How hard can this be?" Five minutes into it, I give up and let them continue the battle. Like the product but Lifetime needs to hire a real product writer.

Our daughter plays Rec basketball and is in the 6th grade. This system allows her to work on all her shots in the driveway, especially rebounds. The backboard was the largest available for the price and is of excellent quality. The system is very sturdy and stable (compared to others in this size) and safe. The product was packaged very well and was easy to put together. When a second pair of hands was required my 11 year old daughter was able to help. The instructions were thorough, though the pictures could have been larger when showing certain hardware orientation. She loves the system which replaced an older smaller Lifetime system that we had for about 7 years. The height adjustment is very easy to use.

Overall for the price its pretty good. It took 3 hours to assemble only because I had to make a modification on it to get it to adjust to the 10 foot height which required laying it back down, emptying most of the water to take the bind off of it so that I could take the square height adjustment assembly off to modify the plastic stop bracket on top of the square tubing so the travel would go down far enough to click into the 10' slot. I had to cut down the bracket and modify it or shorten its length so it wouldn't stop the travel before it clicked in. But overall I like it okay. Free shipping keeps me being any more disappointed. Overall quality good and everything elso fit together properly.

We decided to purchase the hoop based on the facts that our church had purchased the same hoop recently which gave me the chance to see it in person and it appeared to be of good quality and Sam's would deliver it to my house for free. I received it 7 days after ordering online. The instructions were good enough. The best part was the small parts were bagged up in groups & numbered based on when you needed them so you would only have one bag of parts open at a time. Once all the parts in each bag were installed, you knew it was time to go to the next step. The instructions listed the box end wrenches that you'll need, but a 3/8" socket set will make the project go faster. The hoop has worked well, but we've had it less than a month. Also it would have been nice if the instructions would have mentioned the fact that the base is made to flex in case the water you put in the base freezes - I had to search on the Internet to find that fact. Since our hoop gets a lot of wind, I also put 200 extra pounds of sand bags on top of the base to ensure it wouldn't tip over. I'll probably also drain most of the water out of the base and put it in my barn over the winter (Ohio) to help the hoop last longer.
