Easy assembly if you have some help. It is a two man job. I like the height adjustment. Rim has a nice touch when the ball contacts it. Highly recommend.

I bought a basketball net, and a small part broke. I emailed customer service to see where I could buy a replacement part to keep the net working, and a response and solution was received within 2 days! Could not be happier with the speed and solution provided.

I had an issue with my product, and I informed customer service. Ms. Daniela responded immediately. She asked for some photos, I got around to submit them a few weeks later because I was out of town. It's like the same day I sent the pictures to her, I received a reply informing me that the parts were shipped and on the way to me. --it was already in FedEX! Amazing!! My husband and I were very surprised It was a delight to deal with Daniela, she exceeded my expectation. I have several of their products, but never had to deal with customer service issues. I had my portable basketball hoop 54 inch for about 2yrs now, everything was working fine until yesterday when I saw a couple broken plastic washers on the floor, I figured it was the the spacers that keeps the braces together. I sent an email last night about this issue and got a response at around 10 am the next day from Brenna of customer service that they have already shipped the parts I needed under warranty. I have several lifetime products 3 basketball hoops, one is like around 15 yrs old. 2 outdoor storage sheds. Will keep on patronizing LIfetime due to good quality of their products and amazing customer support.

Love our portable Lifetime basketball hoop! I requested information on a replacement part from customer service including cost and shipping costs via email. I was very surprised when I received a response indicating the parts were shipped and there was not cost to me. Great customer service!

We've only had this basketball system a few days, so time will tell how it will hold up, but it appears sturdy, and our nine-year-old son is thrilled with it. We have it at the 10-foot height since that is what our local kids' basketball league uses. It is indeed easy to adjust the height and, so far, our son loves it and it is withstanding the pounding it's getting with ease. We used the water-fill method, which recommends you put a little chlorine in the water to keep it clean. The assembly of this system is another matter. The instructional booklet, which is in small font and in several languages, making it visually confusing, estimates that it will take two to three hours for two adults to assemble the system. Be assured that this is the case unless you are particularly skilled with tools and parts. The "center-lock nut" was especially challenging to tighten, and two of the diagrams were unclear (3.2 and 3.3), resulting in us having to take off some nuts that we'd already tightened down (be sure in 3.2 you don't attach down the APZ u-bracket in this step - oh, and in step 3.1, be sure you don't attach anything to the backboard yet). There is also a mistake or lack of clarity in one of the diagrams (4.6) where it tells you to hand secure the short extension arms (AKC) to the top pole, but it actually shows a picture in that step of attaching the long extension arms (AKB), a confusing contrast which caused us trouble, too. It took my husband and I longer than estimated, and we ended up assembling it for a few hours daily over the course of three days. As suggested in the instructions, it would have been helpful to have a drill to put in the metal tapping screws, but we did not have a drill that could do that, so had to insert and tighten by hand (with wrench and plyers). Next time, I would consider paying for someone to assemble it for us. If you're great with tools, diagrams, and hardware, this may not be an issue for you.

My daughter purchased this for my grand son and had me put it together. I screwed up the main pole the couldn’t get it apart so I cut it with a saw and really screwed it up. But when I call to order a new one your customer service was the best I ever had the pleasure to contact. She didn’t charge me for a new pole, which I wasn’t expecting. So thanks u r Great, I spoke to an English speaking person and solved my problem better then I expected. P.S have the directions to build a little clearer and this problem would of never happen.

Quality is good, but the instruction manual is poorly written and the parts are not identified very well. The handle assembly was apparently part of a bad batch, but to their credit, Lifetime Customer Service (when I was finally able to get through to them after 19 minutes on hold), offered to send replacement parts. I'll consider updating the review after I receive the parts and finish putting it together.

Do not expect this to be straightforward to put together. Much of the hardware included did not fit together, requiring several trips to the hardware store. You will need more than two people, lots of tools, and a fairly high skill level. Not for the faint of heart or muscle.
