This is a very solid item. Putting it together was easy except for two bolts. The spot to get the two bolts in (back of backboard), had too much paint in the hole, so it took a bit of force to get the bolts through. The rest of the assembly went smoothly. The boys helped, felt proud they could assemble this as well. We have it up and the boys love it!!! We would definitely recommend this product!

We purchased a Lifetime Hoop 5-6 years ago and it gets plenty of daily use by our children, extended family and the neighbourhood kids. It doesn't matter if it's sunny, raining, windy, snowing, it's used and thoroughly enjoyed. After all the play and abuse, it is still in amazing shape. I recently noticed that a couple the rings that hold the net to the rim had worn and broken. I contacted Lifetime to purchase a replacement rim and was amazed by their customer service. After a couple of email exchanges, I was sent a replacement rim free of charge! I've been happy with this product since we bought it. The materials, construction and quality are top notch. It's held up amazingly well from the elements and the use. And the customer service from Lifetime was over the top. You can't go wrong with this hoop. Buy and enjoy :)

This product is well made and worth the money. All of the parts are sturdy and well built. The only negative was the time it took to put it together. We doubled the time that the vendor estimated so make sure to bring your patience and allow plenty of time to put it together. If I had to do it again I would have hired someone to put it together for me.

Purchased a portable basketball hoop over 7 years ago and recently had an issue with the handle raising and lowering the basket. Through a series of Q & A, the issue was identified and new parts sent out. Saved me from having to purchase an entire new system.

The quality of this basketball hoop is excellent. It was not easy to put together. The parts can be labeled better to match the book. Also we had to drill a hole bigger for the bolt to fit. My grandsons coach said I made a great choice. I will be playing basketball as well. Thank you for making us happy.

I have had the Lifetime 54” adjustable portable hoop for over a year. The rim unfortunately was damaged in a wind event. The representative from lifetime was so helpful in assisting me through the process. It was very easy and seamless dealing with him.

Built like a tank! This is a sturdy product. It is not easy to put together and you really do need two adults working in it; however the instructions are very thorough and the packaging makes it very easy to identify all the pieces for assembly (individual bags are labeled and contain all the pieces for each step in the directions). Customer service was very responsive despite operating during a pandemic. Very pleased with my purchase, but not as much as my kids are now that they can play hoops at home and social distance responsibly.

If at all possible, I would recommend picking this item up at the store. The box was damaged in the last one we bought. Hope everything is in there and not broken. It is a Christmas gift. We purchased this same model last year and it has held up well. It looks just like new after a year of sitting outside. Using the box lid for a work surface worked well. Read and follow the directions carefully. Many folks thought they were not well written, but we did ok. Just have to think through what is to be done. Did not choose to use sand or water for fill, got the small bag of material that absorbs water to fill the base. It held up well through temps from 10-100 degrees. Was able to roll the goal into the garage when hurricane winds were expected. Great family gift.

This basketball goal has turned out to be fun for the whole family. The installation took about 4 hours because very close attention to details in pictures is required and there are steps that are not as clear as they should be. Overall, the installation was not too difficult for two people to complete. The overall value is excellent and I would buy this again. This has become a magnet for our sports-minded family.

Takes a little bit of time to put together. Definitely need two people for portions of it. After assembly, it’s easy to operate. Moving it around will be an issue for children and small adults. If use is stationary then it will be fine. I roll it up and down the driveway and keep it on the side of the house when not in use. The lever mechanism is easy to use for adults and may be difficult for children under 13. The base is about 400lbs when full.
