I bought this several months ago. After limited use, the springs continued to detach and the mechanism for raising and lower the hoop was defective and did not work. The good news is that Lifetime will send out new parts and will pay for a repair person to fix the problem at no charge to me. We will see if the fix works.

I had a very good interaction with Heidi who assisted with getting a couple replacement parts for my basketball hoop which was a little damaged. She was very helpful and even called back to confirm one last time to ensure the order was correct. Very nice and thorough. I know it is a busy time, so much appreciated.

A friend gave me a Lifetime Adjustable Portable Basketball hoop. The rim had been damaged and bent, so I phoned up customer service to buy a replacement rim. I full expected to pay for a rim (if they even had one in stock). To my UTTER DELIGHT, the customer service rep not only confirmed that they had replacement parts in stock but sent it to me at NO COST and NO SHIPPING. This is not something that I can promise they will do for everyone in every situation, but I was absolutely thrilled and delighted they did it for me. I'll tell you one thing: they've just won a customer for life.

We researched various systems under $300. We ordered this one online it arrived as scheduled. Two adults put it together in about three hours with no problems. It is a good size and sturdy enough for our family. My 15 year old uses it the most. The family also uses it together it is a good portable system for our driveway. We filled the base with water.

Granted we only just began using this a couple days ago, but so far so good. My husb wanted the $1000 inground kind, thinking all others would be junk. Even he's impressed with this. He & our boys ages 11 & 6 put this together in about 4 hours with minimal trouble. Had to fill with water because the sand in the bags was wet & too difficult to pour. The water holds the unit still, but i hope the freezing temps don't cause swelling & cracking. This EASILY adjusts in height, i can't believe how easy! 11 yr old began on travel team, so we're taking this seriously, and this is a fine product for home practice. But i'll report back in a year because i, too, rely on reviews! Oh & I got free home shipping on this which went beautifully via Seko Worldwide, personal service, right to my garage thankfully, because the box is prob 55" long, 102 lbs.

I am missing a part from this purchase and have yet to determine if it is a great purchase or not

I can't believe that I paid over $450 for this and it was missing a bolt. I had to go to Lowe's to buy a similar bolt and I needed to get it cut to the right size. Also, the instructions QR code goes to a different model goal. It's our second day of trying to put this thing together. I had higher expectations for this brand and for this price.

This is a nice product. I put this together two days ago, it took a couple of hours to complete. When I started the second phase of the assembly I panicked because what I had put together in phase 1 didn’t match the illustrations in phase 2! After looking at all the illustrations I realized that the illustrations of where the pole bracket mounts on the pole are wrong in phase 2 of the assembly manual.

This is a great basketball system. It raises to different heights, which is great for different ages. Very sturdy.

Easy to assemble. Easy to disassemble. Each piece really isn't that heavy. Only heavy when put together which it should be. Love how we can adjust the height to it for the taller kids.
