Allstate 1-Year Protection Plan, Optical Up to $499.99

Allstate was very hard to file a claim. They wanted pictures of damage. It was on the lenses and we couldn't get it to show. The lady at Sam's finally called them for me

Glasses

I believe I'm covered but not sure as when I attempted to register the glasses I could only get to a web page to file a claim and all I wanted to do was verify they were registered not file a claim.

I ordered prescription glasses on Oct 30, 2025. I also ordered the Allstate 1 year insurance. The problem is they started the insurance that day but I didn't get the glasses until 2 weeks later!!!

Paid for insurance without the product

AllState is now very difficult to get anything resolved after the 60day in club warranty but you have not other choice when glasses are easily $500.00.

Eyeglass Warranty

I ordered my glasses on October 31th.  I was given an ETA of 11/11/2025.  I have not received my glasses yet 11/13/2025.  Sadly the warranty starts the date of order not the day the glasses are received!

service was friendly and quick.  Glasses were ready for pick up in an amazingly short time.  I was a little disappointed in the tinting I paid for though.  Its not very dark and will not take the place of sunglasses.

eye glasses

The optician led us to believe that the warranty was included with the eyeglass purchase. I later checked the receipt and noticed that the warranty was a $35 extra charge that I would not have agreed to.

Funny business

checkout is a sham! You either do it yourself - and that has a line anyway - or you wait and wait with 20 people blocking the aisle waiting. Did you ever succeed in getting a chicken? I wish I never had to go there - but I must.

I Trust Sam's Club,  I do Not Trust Allstate Insurance,  Allstate has proven to be Non-Reliable, dishonest, and Not worthy of enjoyiing the honesty that Sam's / Walmart has worked so hard to establish.

Canceled glasses. Too big. Bought in hurry.  Don’t need insurance

Remove insurance

The salesperson told us we received Allstate Protection Insurance with the purchase of our glasses. She never stated that we would be charged for the insurance. We never would have purchased the plan. We bought 4 pair of glasses and had 4 different charges. We found out several days later when we received an email from Allstate thanking us for our purchase with the price charged to our card. The plan starts the day you purchase the glasses and lasts for one year. It took 2 weeks to receive the glasses so why didn't it start the day we received them. Very shady to claim the insurance came with the glasses but never say we would have a charge for almost $140 dollars for insurance we never would have purchased. We won't be purchasing our glasses at the same store next year. Allstate should never start the insurance the day of purchase unless you walk out of the store with the product.

Was told Allstate insurance came with the purchase

We've been purchasing insurance for our glasses for several years against damage, and about 4 months ago we actually turned in a claim for damages. Allstate required proof of damage, which is reasonable, and paid our claim allowing us to have new lenses make at zero cost to us. Thank you Allstate for doing as promised!
