29$ a pound? It’s not worth purchasing anymore

Meat was spoiled before I even got at home I will be more careful where I buy my meat because of this

I bought 2 weeks ago and froze each lb separately.  Thawed 1lb in fridge 2 days, then used The Food Lab recipe w/minor alterations and it turned out tastier than I expected.  Husband and son loved it!

Generally Sam's has good quality beef but this flank steak was sub par. It was marked USDA Choice but was Select at best. I've cooked many flank cuts over the years and the previous one purchased at Sam's was excellent but this one was super tough and lacked flavor.

Unfortunately missed the mark, low grade beef

Absolutely delicious!! I marinated for over 12hrs and put on the grill and it turned out great for taco night!! Nice and tender and just good. This was my first time using this cut of meat and I must say, I will be using it more moving forward!
