Steak Taco me please!!! 🤤

Absolutely delicious!! I marinated for over 12hrs and put on the grill and it turned out great for taco night!! Nice and tender and just good. This was my first time using this cut of meat and I must say, I will be using it more moving forward!

Yum1

Prefer skirt steak. flank steak is a bit tough. But excellent with onions and pepper on a hoagie.

Goes a long way!

Love Sam’s flank steaks. A great way to feed steak to a group of people. We use a tenderizing tool and marinade, cook it on the grill and slice against the grain before serving.

My favorite steak!

Flatten the steak, put into a gallon zip lock bag and add about 1/4 cup of soy sauce (not the low sodium version). Do this the night before so it marinates overnight and all the next day. Turn the bag over in the morning. Grill the steak about 15 minutes and slice thin across the grain. This steak has a distinct flavor that my whole family loves

Flank Steak

I make jerky with flank steak and Sam's usually has really good flank steak. It's always fresh. If they don't have any out I can ring the bell and they are awesome about getting me what I need with only a few minutes wait time. Good job meat department. Thanks

Great flavor and quality

Flavor, marbling and quality are great. I’m only disappointed in the packaging size and price. These used to come in a 2 pack for roughly the same price but now they’re half the size and just as expensive. It’s sad things have gone up in price so much. It’s everywhere though not just Sam’s Club.

fatty

we use flank steak to make beef jerky. The price at Sams is good until you unwrap it. SO MUCH FAT!! they make sure to tuck thw fatty parts under so you cant see. I buy this maybe twuce a month and I usually get between 4.5 and 5lbs but after I trim and remove all of the excess fat im lucky to get 4 lbs. Also I askes if they could trim the fat off and they said they dont do that. The rest of the meat is good.

Unfortunately missed the mark, low grade beef

Generally Sam's has good quality beef but this flank steak was sub par. It was marked USDA Choice but was Select at best. I've cooked many flank cuts over the years and the previous one purchased at Sam's was excellent but this one was super tough and lacked flavor.

UNACCEPTABLE

My last flank steak order from the GREENSBURG, PA Sam's Club was totally unacceptable. The cut was like nothing I have ever seen. It was just thick lumps of tough meat. They were so thick they were barely rolled. I can't imagine ANY butcher putting these cuts out for sale! These awful cuts were chosen by a store shopper for a pickup order. I did not know how unacceptable they were until I got them home and started to prepare them for marinade. At this point, I had no time to return them. Rather than throwing them away, I tried to cube them and make beef tips. Just for your information, flank steak is not good cubed. I completely wasted over $30. When I contacted customer service, I was told I would have to return to the store for a possible refund. At this point, what was I going to return? Our Sam's Club location in GREENSBURG, PA has gone downhill terribly. I don't know if I am going to renew our membership.
