Nice place set Very durable so far no real complaints besides the instructions being outdated and slightly confusing but the new version is online. Should be friendlier with instructions lots of little bolts and pieces. Bottom line though the product is good the company was easy to talk to I have no complaints other than the instructions. For some reason the chalkboard did not line up with the holes had to drill new ones through the plastic but no big deal.

Big Stuff Swing Set. Two of us put it together in one day. Very pleased with the size. Grandkids love it, heck I love going down the slide and swinging too. The slide is great. The grandkids love the ship's wheel that clicks when you turn it. Who knew something so simple would be loved by ALL the kids? I love the size of the fort. So far we are very happy with this set. Time will tell about any rusting.

Other than the long wait to speak with someone, which is common these days with many, the 3 people I have dealt with have been superb. Their research, making suggestions and details came to solving my problem with ladder rungs. Kudos to your team. Thank you.

Excellent quality. Kids at our church love it. Be sure you follow the instructions to the letter. They are very specific. If you try to skip a step, you'll end up doing rework. Trust me. The instructions are well thought out and laid out very well, but you must adhere to them exactly as written.

This playset is awesome! My kids love everything about it. My favorite part is how nice it looks in the yard and how minimal the maintenance is - no sanding and re-staining like wood. We've also needed a few pieces of replacement hardware and Lifetime has quickly sent those at no cost to me! Love the quality and the responsiveness of the company.

Now that the play set is assembled it is wonderful, and we are happy with the purchase. However, the shipping process was less than smooth, and we were missing a box and several large pieces when it did arrive. These were shipped promptly when we notified Lifetime.

I love this thing as much as my kids do. It's wonderful to put something together that actually works and goes together like you'd expect. A Made in USA product at its finest. No mis-drilled holes, no short pieces, no missing parts- no hassle. Everything goes together so well and secure I couldn't believe it. I am fairly mechanically inclined and work industrial construction with a general contractor for a living so I am pretty proficient at building things and using tools. I was able to put this together myself in about 11 total hours and that includes breaking down and disposing of the crate this monster shipped in. About an hour total unpacking and sorting all the parts for inventory and off I went. With help and warmer weather you could easily get this done on a Saturday. I did manage to snap a bolt by over-tightening. I sent an email through the website and six hours later I've got a few bolts headed my way at no charge. That is great customer service and very much appreciated! I'm going through the catalog now and ready to buy anything made by Lifetime. They've earned my dollars and I will be back for more. Basketball hoop is already on the way and the family is deciding on which kayaks we like the best. Thank you for being a great company Lifetime. I wish there were more like you!

Shipping was definitely a trick. At first I was frustrated by how slow it seemed for this to arrive. Until it DID arrive and I realized just how big and heavy the crate was that contained all the pieces. This was delivered by a freight truck with a lift gate and the pallet jack was useless. So have a little patience from when you order to when it’s delivered. This thing came in a HUGE crate - if you don’t have a forklift - a really strong pry bar and hammer will help you open the crate so you can unload the boxes separately. Start early in the morning! Open ALL the boxes first. Keep the contents of each box together!! You will jump around from box to box on occasion. The directions were pretty clear but the only thing lacking was what piece was located in what box. We had to dig around a bit to find what we needed, but it was pretty obvious when we found it. You need two or more people and some step stools/free standing ladders to put this thing together. Whatever you do, don’t use a battery operated drill. You’re going to snap more bolts then you have available if you do. And they do give you a few extras. Thank goodness. Put everything together before you tighten all the bolts. Even only hand tightened, it’s very sturdy. The directions were very easy to follow but you are not going to get this put together in a day with only two people. The accessories and finishing touches will be day two. (The ground wasn’t level where we were setting it up, so we had to dig holes and square everything up. So our process took much longer than expected.) With that said - this was the BEST investment I ever made for my two kids, ages 4 & 5. They have this thing mastered and play on it several times a week. There is so much for them to do. It was more than I wanted to spend - but with plywood cost nowadays, this thing cost just as much as something half its size, made out of wood. And it’s going to last forever. My wooden one that it replaced was rotted at the base within a couple of years. This thing will still be standing when my children’s grandchildren are around to play on it. Funny story - We started with the monkey bars and accidentally flipped the Fireman's pole and slide. Operator error, we went back and looked at the directions and it was our mistake, not the manual. By the time we realized it, we were much too far into the installation to correct it and now the footprint was much larger than the space we had available. We ended up putting the other slide over half of the rope climb and used 2 inch plywood to create a rock wall where the slide should’ve gone. It’s certainly not as pretty as it was intended, but it works. My kids LOVE this thing. Our house is play date central because of it. Worth every penny! My only critique is I wish they made a mirror image version for you to choose from. Otherwise, very happy customer.

So glad my wife found this swingset that is not wooden. All we see is worn down gray wooden sets around and this one should last. I was shocked with the quality. I put this together myself with the help of my 7 and 4 year old boys holding a few things and getting screws. Every weld and every hole alignment was perfect. I do recommend 2 adults for assembly - I could have saved probably an hour throughout just having somebody hold and press some of the plastic caps for the holes to align and me to get a nut on. However I was able to basically do the whole thing myself in about 11-13 hours over 4 days. While building, I ended up spending a lot of time playing with the kids as we finished each component. There is a BILT app I downloaded that has 3D panoramic instructions that read you the directions over and over again. It would’ve been significantly more difficult with just the paper instructions. That app is a must. It allows you to pan and zoom into even the holes for each screw. The set is sturdy. Our family of 5 sit in the fort area up top. The main pipes are very rigid and I do the monkey bars at 180 pounds and it almost feels like a commercial playground. It also looks and feels like a quality paint. There are no sharp edges on the welds or anything like that. One roof support was bent at the very end and a bolt wouldn’t go through. I was able to bend it with pliers and a vice and drill the hole a bit bigger with a drill bit. Otherwise it was flawless. Protip: directions and most hardware are in box 6 of 6. Download the app and watch that quick before install. It’s the first thing the boys run to over a month in. Couldn’t be happier with this set. We checked all out boxes (slide (2), fort, monkey bars, rock wall) and still paid less than the popular cedar swingsets available around here. Called in and got 5% discount. Last thing, I’m thrilled we don’t have to spend a weekend each summer staining this thing every year.

Everything is great and the kids love it! Assembly would have been faster if the kids weren't helping and if all the parts were labeled better. You really have to look closely at the assembly instructions and compare parts to make sure you are using the correct one or it is oriented in the correct direction. The hardware parts packages were labeled amazingly. There is a spare parts bag too!
