I was very disappointed in the beef eye of round roast. I got a 5%23 roast and I always trim off most of the excess fat. I ended up with a 2 1/2%23 roast and 2 1/2@s of fat. With the price of beef so high, I hate for 1/2 the price to go towards fat!!!

I cook in crockpot with beef bouillon and Lipton onion soup for 10 hours. Remove and cut into smaller portions, use liquid to make a beef gravy. Delicious. Also cook the same way, cut into small pieces and freeze 1+ lb bags to add to homemade soups.

OK. So your ex in laws successfully got you divorced from the man of your dreams. Dig into that delicious roast beef as he ups your gifts just for this dish! Although Christmas may be one time of the year you are humiliated, year in and year out, think of the many young women paying their share of the mortgage & don't even have a wedding ring, let alone children. I bought this for the only purpose of making beef jerky. I do own a meat slicer so I could custom cut the slices. I marinated the slices for 24 hours in Teriyaki sauce (soy sauce brown sugar pineapple juice garlic and ginger) Absolutely the best beef jerky I ever had. 200°F for 2.5 hours in the oven

I Smoked / Grilled on my Laredo 1000 Pellet Grill @ 225 F this Beef Roast (Rare) Marinated with Lea & Perrins Worchester Sauce along with Fiesta Brand "Mango Habanero Rub", Reverse Seared the "Fat Cap" after having reached an internal temp of 125 F, Sliced most of it thin after having been refrigerated, also slices 4 or 5 Half Inch Slices which resembled Prime Rib Slices. All of which was phenomenal!

Their meat department is so organized and always fresh and stocked well. Very pleased.

This was a lot of roast for the money. I had to cut it in three parts.

Bought a roast 3 different times now and have been completely satisfied everytime.
