The meat looked good however it was tough and tasteless. So much so that we froze the 2nd. half and are thinking about throwing it away.

Outstanding slidiced beef, cook it 7 minutes a pound @ 475 preheated, leave oven closed 2 - 3 hrs refrigerate overnight slice thin stack on a roll and superb eating

For an extremely lean cut of meat, needs the fatty cap trimmed more. I paying for lean meat, not FAT CAP! I had to trim off a quarter pound of fat from this cut.

We're very pleased with the quality of Sam's Club meat. We typically buy 6-8 roasts at a time. I make sure my freezer always has a supply ready. We use the eye round for making our dog's food as well as our own meals. The price is very good. I cook this meat several different ways and it always comes out tender and taste wonderful.

This was an on line order. Person who picked this item should not have put the terrible quality of meat in my order. The fat on it was totally blue and black. The meat close to the fat was also discolored and had a smell. The product was not fresh at all.

We purchased this Member's Mark USDA Choice Angus Beef Eye of Round to ring in the New Year with friends. I am so glad we made the perfect choice. Followed our favorite recipe and it turned out tender and flavorful. - A couple of tips... Be sure you stick the meat thermometer in the meat, set it on the countertop, and let it come to room temperature, before you place it in the oven. By doing this, it allows the meat to cook evenly all-the-way through. Also, just as important, bring the meat out of the oven when the temperature is 10-degrees below your desired temperature as the meat will continue to cook after you remove it from the oven. This also allows the juices to remain in the meat. Lastly, this meat needs to be cut very thin for the best flavor and tenderness.

Good roast but pricey. Bought this one because it had no waste.
