We purchased one as a Christmas gift. The first time our grand kids used it we knew we would have to get two more. They love it, and the kayak is very stable. The kids are 8 YOA twins and a 10 YOA. They should get several year of use from these kayaks.

i bought this item offline, delivery was very quick! Only one slight problem with delivery! My phone number wasn't attached to my order and wasn't delivered to my address so when the shipment arrived in town they only hold it for one week before shipping back! Lucky I phoned to see were it was Before they shipped it back! But other than that I love it!!

I am happy with the two Lifetime Wave Jr kayaks I purchased. This company makes nce products. I was disappointed to learn that these kayaks, except for the yellow model, do not come with seat backs. Reading earlier Walmart.com comments from Lifetime on this topic implied they would supply customers with seat backs who were under the impression that all models came with one.

This is the 2nd children’s kayak I’ve purchased. Had to get 2nd one for granddaughter, now both grandkids can kayak while I’m on my paddleboard. We use only on the lake. These kayaks are very stable and lightweight. I recommend this brand for adventurous children.

Bought the yellow kayak for my kids age 4 and 5. They love it! It seems safe though they wear life jackets. I highly recommend. Just a side note, we live in Hawaii and the cost to ship was ridiculous. There is also no ship to store option which is lame because they obviously ship items here everyday. On the bright side, we live in Hawaii and my kids can enjoy the kayak at gorgeous beaches almost any day of the year. The yellow kayak comes with back support.

My daughter is 8 years old & this kayak is perfect!!! She absolutely loves it. Our 1st kayaking together we went down the Blackstone River!!! It was so much fun.. I have told all her school friend's & we all plan on kayaking together this summer!! Great little kayak!!!

bought for my 9 year old son for use on a lake. he zips around on it and it's plenty big for him, although it says one person, there's actually enough room for his buddy to get on too (as long as they don't exceed the weight limit as it'll start to submerge in the water a little). didn't have a chance to try the paddle board aspect too much as it was too wavy, but he could easily stand up on it and stay balanced. thinking about getting another one for my daughter......great price and quick shipping by walmart, very pleased

Got this for our 6 year old after seeing another family with one. It's the perfect size to fit in the back of my Subaru Outback with some room to spare. I like the simple design and the little divets for your fingers to carry it. I also like that he sits on it and not in it so if it tips, he slides right off (though it has only tipped from someone else making it tip!) So far we have only used it on a pond and not in any sort of choppy water. It glides faster than I thought it would for such a small kayak. Great summer purchase, great deal and happy kid!

I read a lot of reviews before ordering this so I knew what to expect. It was wrapped in clear plastic. If it is going to be a gift, I would ship it to grandma and grandpa's. There is no way to carry it from behind so the back drags, it is not that big so my husband was able to wrap his arm around it and carry it that way...me not so much. I think for the price this is the best deal out there, for a kids kayak. Can't wait for my daughter to see it, and when the snow is gone actually use it.

We received the Kayak site-to-store in less time than estimated. Was in good shape but does come in a clear plastic bag - good to know if it's a gift! We ordered the yellow and it did come with back support and paddle. Our daughter is about to turn 9, 55 lbs., avg. height and she loved it! We went kayaking Christmas Day! Fits her well with a little room to grow, very stable. Great first kayak!
