This is perfect for my son. It arrived 1 week sooner then we were told which was wonderful. He is 11 and will get a few years of use out of it. Took it out for the first time, was playing around and fell off it. Learned it was really easy to get back on by himself. Even fits inside my SUV, but I do plan on putting it on top. Very light so one person can lift to put on top of car.

Our 6 yr old son LOVES this kayak! Very easy to use. Came with paddle. He can also use it as a stand up paddle board. I did some online research, and this one was best price/value. Only negative was product arrived 1 week late. But highly recommend overall.

We are a family who Kayaks. Last year my grandson got the green one for his birthday and he loves the independence of it so I bought this one as an early birthday gift for my granddaughter. She just went out over the week end on it in the Bay. She absolutely loves it. These are easy to carry, turn over if flipped and climb on and off of in the water. Plus Lifetime makes it so it will last.

This is the second of two of these that I have purchased, one for each grand son. They are thrilled with the Kayak's and my son takes them to a local lake. The colors are brilliant, one Green and one Orange and easy to see from afar. A fun iten that will last them until they out grow the size.

Works out great for my 7 year old. Pretty light and Easy to carry and very easy to maneuver, even for a small child. It is possible to attach a seat with all for straps attaching to hooks in front of seat area.. or u can add two more hooks in the back if u dont want seat to flop when not sitting in it

We bought 2 of these for our boys, ages 6 & 7. They are lightweight. The boys can get their own kayaks in and out of the water. They are easy to maneuver. The only negative thing was that both kayaks were delivered with deep scratches from Walmart shipping department and one was missing a plug. I called Lifetime and they are sending 2 plugs through the mail. The kayaks are under warranty for 5 years, so we opted not to send them back. The boys wanted to use them as soon as they got here and I didn't want to wait another week+ for others to be shipped.

The kayak tracks well and is comfortable-very important to us. Only complaint is that the small gray seat clip and black round strap clip are easily lost-best if secured with thin elastic or the like so they don’t end up in the water. Lifetime was great and replaced our pieces as we lost several after the first time usage. Thank you!

After seeing these used by other children, my husband and I thought our 2 girls (ages 9 and 5) would love them! We bought 2 through Walmart.com. Walmart.com had the best price out of everyone I checked. I used regular shipping and had them within a week. The first time we used them, we gave the kids a few instructions on how to use one side of the paddle to turn around, but other than that, they caught on immediately! They loved it! We spent hours using them and gave turns to all the kids around us, who caught on quickly and loved them, as well! They fit well in the back of our minivan. When we used our SUV, we put them on the roof and secured with bungee cords. They are lightweight and easy for an adult to carry (finger grooves on the inside). We had the kids carry the paddles. We have a pontoon boat and put them in the middle of the boat with us to transport. When we have more passengers with us, our plan is to secure them on the back of the pontoon with the bungee cords.

Great kayak for children weighing 60 pounds or less! Our 50-pound grandson loves this kayak! Kayak tips easily if more than 60 pounds climbs aboard. The paddles that came with the kayak are awesome! The kayak tipped as soon as my 140-pounds climbed aboard; however, I did manage to balance on the kayak to keep from tipping.

My wife and I bought one of these kayaks and then my dad bought another one and gave it to us for our kids (age 8 & 10) to learn on. The included paddle is decent and the kayak paddles, loads and unloads easily. We store our kayaks outdoors and encountered an issue with one of them where it appears some woodland critter gnawed at the drain plug, rendering it quite useless. When I contacted customer service they immediately offered to send me a replacement, which arrived about a week from my initial contact. Considering there was no charge and they even sent me two (though I think they are packaged that way) I have to say this was a very positive experience with their products and would definitely recommend them to others.
