I am an older female, about 5'5", and maybe 110Lbs, now? I would highly recommend this kayak!! I've only had a chance to take it out 3x this season, but it is extremely durable and not too heavy for me to carry! I secured a smaller wrenching strap to one side, which makes it easier to grab, carry, and attach small cooler! It is not just for kids!!! Website says, "130 Lbs". On kayak, it says, "115 Lbs"? I believe that's just for safety, 'cause my girlfriend, who weighs maybe 125 Lbs, did fine with it, as well! Very happy I made this purchase! Thank you!
