My kids love this kayak. The paddles were a bit short but I needed larger paddles for my tioga so I passed the ones included with that to them. Very easy for my 9 and 10 year olds to carry themselves and easy to maneuver. Next year I'll be moving my 13 year old up to an 8 foot kayak and these 2 will be just for the younger 2 otherwise I wouldn't have hesitated to but a third.

Just a great introductory kayak. Our son thanked us profusely! Can't wait to gift the second to our 8 YO. Seems very stable, light and easy to carry. The 11 YO can carry it (he's a little guy) but prefers to have us carry it. Fits right in the back of our boat! Purchased backrests separately, elsewhere..only two clips on kayak for backrests, but additional could be installed.

My kids love this. They use it as a paddle board, a kayak, even just a raft to lay on out in the water. It has a place for the paddle to rest across the front so the paddle isn't floating off when she wants a break. In case she jumps off to go for a swim, the back of the boat is sloped for easier access back on - she stays out on the lake for hours! Very durable and the color is fun! I love this product and the price was amazing!!! Great for my kids! We bought it for my 9 year old but will be getting another one for my 11 year old very soon!

It’s smaller than the lifetime youth kayak we bought in store. It’s shorter and I’m not sure it has the same weight capacity. The color is cool and love that the paddles have color too. It was more expensive than the ones we bought in store and shorter. So I’m not sure what to think. Haven’t tested it out yet.

We bought 2 of these Lifetime kayaks for our kids ages 11, 9, 6. They have absolutely loved them! They liked them so much, we ended up purchasing one more that should be arriving today! We looked online and Walmart had the lowest price we have seen for these kayaks.

Love the kayaks but not happy store advertised 78.00 but no where to be found forced to pay 145.00 each online ..that was deceiving advertising I feel..would like an explanation of why they advertised low price but kept products out of stores NY and VT

Excellent kayak for children. Just the right size for those 8 to 12 yrs, if fit and under 130 lbs like my grandchildren. Easy for the kids to get onto it , comes with the paddle. Sturdy built and colorful. I like the fact that this product is made in the USA.

My 8 year old daughter saved up to purchase this Kayak. She has only played with it in our pond since it has been chilly. I was worried that the small Kayak would not be sturdy, but she didn't have any trouble board & un-boarding it. I think it's a great product for the price that you pay. When she bought it, it was on sale for $99 so I think it is well worth the money. We wanted a small kayak to be able to take with us on camping trips and out on the boat. This is perfect. My daughter chose the green one, which came with the paddle, but I have read that if you buy the yellow one it comes with the back rest also.

I purchased this for my 6 year olds birthday, and it is AWESOME. We take the kayaks on a river, which is harder to maintain than a lake setting, and she did great. it tracks very well for being so wide & flat. The locations for the feet being at several lengths is great.This doesnt come with the seat attachment, and I don't think it even needs it, unless maybe for an older child. The only thing I might add is another carry handle for the back of it, so two people can carry it, unless you are dragging it, it is akward to carry since there is not much to grab onto.

AWESOME little kayaks. I saw these in action and bought THREE of them for my three grandkids that night. Ages 5, 8, and 10 had these figured out in about 10 seconds and they loved them and spent hours playing on the lake with us in our kayaks. The included paddles are perfect size and work well. The seat-back is a light foam attached to a nylon strap, and none of the kids needed or used them. Make sure the kids wear proper PFD's. While these are small, they are real boats and will get out there very quickly. The quality is high and they are rugged enough to last many years, unlike a toy blow-up boat.
