The kayak is great! I have 2, one for each of my girls (3 and 5 years old). They love them and it has helped me get out on the water more. They are easy for my girls to get on and off of and the paddle holder is perfect for when they are taking a break. They are very stable so no tipping and small enough to get around easily.

Super light. Durable. Easy to use. Perfect for the little ones who aren't quite big enough for a real kayak yet. My son is 6 and zooms all over the place on it. Crosses the lake, navigates salt water ways and creeks, and small enough to pack in the SUV versus on top of the roof.

Perfect size for my kids, ages 6-11 (though the 11 year old - at 5'1 and 105# is understandably on the large side, but still a little room to grow) Nice, sturdy construction - paddle is included as listed, the seat back shown in some photos, but not mentioned in description is not.

purchased 3 of these for 3 boys ages 9, 11, and 13. Purchased 3 different colors, orange, green and blue. the orange is a little bit more red than pictured, other 2 colors are true time color sample. These canoes are very stable and the 2 older boys have even figured out how to use them like paddle boards, standing up. very happy with these and the price.

I bought this kayak for my grandchildren ages 3 to 10. It kept them busy for hours, they absolutely love it! The paddles are just a little shorter than the adult size, which is just perfect! They had no trouble getting on and off and maneuvering around! The only problem is I only bought one! Highly recommend purchase!

This is a great kid kayak. I have a competitor from Pelican to compare it to. It is lighter. The drain plug works much better. It comes with a paddle wheras the Pelican didn't, but the Lifetime model also cost me nearly twice as much as the Pelican. That Pelican model wasn't available, and I had reservations about paying the extra money. Overall though, I have no regrets about this boat.

Bought this kayak for our granddaughter who just turned 8. She was feeling left out because we all had our own kayaks including her 12 year old sister but she was just not big enough for a regular size. She got in and took off like she had been paddling her entire life. Had a wonderful time on it. Perfect size.

I bought two of these kayaks for my grandkids ages 6 and 10. They used them Memorial Day weekend for the first time and had a blast. They took to them like ducks to water. It also prompted Mom and Dad to purchase a different kayak and now the whole family is on the water. The kids were paddling, standing up and jumping into the water and climbing back up for several hours. The only thing that I think needs improvement is the ease of carrying it. The 10 year old has to carry her own kayak and the molded hand holds really don't work very well. I received lots of hugs for this gift!

Just perfect for the money. My daughter is nine and had no problems floating the river in this kayak. Calm water or in the current. I am a small framed person and it also holds me just fine to. In my opinion, this is a great starter kayak for a child and a great deal for the cost. Not fancy by no means but serves the purpose.

Bought the yellow kayak for my kids age 4 and 5. They love it! It seems safe though they wear life jackets. I highly recommend. Just a side note, we live in Hawaii and the cost to ship was ridiculous. There is also no ship to store option which is lame because they obviously ship items here everyday. On the bright side, we live in Hawaii and my kids can enjoy the kayak at gorgeous beaches almost any day of the year. The yellow kayak comes with back support.
