It was just what I expected. Bought it for grandson's birthday. So happy there was no shipping charge as this item was already $10.00 more expensive than the exact one I purchased at Sam's two weeks prior. We haven't given it to our grandson yet, but it looks in perfect shape and we think it will be a real hit for him for his birthday.

Great kayak for my small 6 year old. My average 12 year old tried it out too and had fun in it. I fit it in the back of my Impreza hatchback with the back seats down to get it home. One negative is when I first looked at this there was a wide range of prices by color. I waited it out til we really needed it (2 months) and the prices evened out, so we got the blue like we really wanted.

I was buying one, and before i left the store I had to get the last one so I bought two for both my kids and they love them. They were riding waves and paddling and having tons of fun. My kids just want to go out everyday and ride them. You have to get used to them saying, can we go to the beach, can we go to the beach.

I considered buying this last summer and hesitated, but I took the plunge and picked it up this season. I am so glad I did! It is light and portable and easy for both my five-year-old and my seven-year-old to handle. My seven-year-old can launch it into the water off the dock by himself and it’s so stable he pretends it’s a Paddle board. When he decides to take a swim to cool off while paddling it’s also very easy for him to climb back on in the middle of the lake. Love it. Especially love that we can all go out paddling together.

I bought this kayak on sale for just over $80 specifically for my two granddaughters, aged 8 and 13. The kayak fit them both well although the older one might grow out of it my next summer. When it came time to try it our on flat, calm water, both of them took right off and had the hang of paddling in no time. Neither one had any prior experience kayaking. I was very impressed by how well the kayak tracked with minimum effort. The older granddaughter even took down some small rapids. Great buy and a lot of fun. Be aware the shipping took close to 2 weeks despite what you are told by the tracking info.

This youth-sized kayak was given to me by my sister for my Grandkids to play with in our pool. They LOVE it!! My Grandkids that have used it range from 41/2 to 17 years old. They use it every time they swim, even going so far as to turn it upside down to stand on it and use it like a paddle board. It is very easy for all of them to use. They even put their dogs on it to take them for a ride, and the dogs love it too! They have also taken this kayak to the lake and enjoyed it there also. It is short and light weight enough to be able to transport it without using a truck. The children can lift it all by themselves too. We also love the bright lime color. I would recommend this kayak to everyone who has children around.

I bought one for my 7 year old son and he has such a great time with it in our pond that I had to go and get another one for my 10 year old daughter! The sturdy build make it easy for the kids to paddle. It is easy to transport -we take it in our truck down the river often. I would like to see them come with scupper plugs so that on cooler days when the kids take them out, the water doesn't get on the kayak

We just recently moved from NY to FL. My husband and I are avid Kayakers. Our daughter often goes with us and paddle boards as well. She is 6 - with the move to a warmer climate it offers the opportunity to be in that water more often. My daughter actually saw a similar product but they could not get it to us by Christmas. The Kayak came ( with no extra shipping costs) earlier than stated. The design and quality was far surpassed what I expected she will actually be able to truly kayak in this. When we were action last year in the Blue Ridge Mountains we rented kayaks and My daughter wanted to paddle board. They had a hybrid of a sit on top kayak that was able to be used for SUP. This is exactly what it was. I have searched for that item and was unable to find it. This is it. My husband and I have what would be high end kayaks, the design and materials that this unit is made of is identical. It is a one piece body and hull which is key to a good kayak. The paddle include - I assumed we would have to purchase a better one - I WAS WRONG the paddle is well made and the diameter of the Paddle is smaller to fit into a smaller hand. The price is far below what the value of this product is. The sit on top design has goober notch placement for her feet. There is a the ability to add a comfortable seat, and the open back design is ideal of children to get in ad out of. The First this she did when she discovered it under the tree Christmas morning was point out that she kayak SUP and she was right there is the perfect area that provides balance for her feet. We have a large neighborhood lake that the houses are built around eager to get in she got her life jacket and took to it. starting seated then went onto her knees and well - lets just say she does not want a seat. This is the exact same product we rented on vacation just in her size. AND PINK OF COURSE. Lastly being that we are in an area where there are endless places to kayak and kids can tucker out there is a told toggle at the front that will be ideal for towing her through waters she might not be able to animate or when she just wants to chill. Today might be our first day out. I would highly recommend this product Im certain I will be buying another ( my 4 year old son will be ready to go soon and well he can't do pink I Truly did not anticipate this level of quality at this price point. I would also recommend marketing the product as a hybrid of a SUP and sit on top Kayak because hat is what it is. I don't know if your company makes seats for the kayaks as well but I found seats that are the same maker as our high end kayaks that would seamlessly fit into here providing the ability to enjoy a day out on the water. OH DID I MENTION THE GUARANTEE ? A lifetime guarantee. I know sound too good to be true. I imagine that if this product got in the hands of product placement and was read about and discovered by more outdoors people like us the would be SO HOT. Get it now before it takes off and the price doubles. You would pay that much to rent a kayak for the day In most places. Best purchase of the Holiday and it will be of great use. If You are looking to introduce your child into kayaking this is the way to go. It is really pretty too.

We bought 2, for our sons, 8 and 6 years old. We thought, what the heck, at $99 each, free shipping to the store, comes with a seat and paddle, how could you go wrong. We are not disappointed. The boys love them and go out in our lagoon regularly. They are easy to maneuver, easy to pull up on the dock, just the right size for beginners. And they are very stable. After swimming both are able to climb back up on the kayak, no problem. We have other Lifetime products which all seem to be quality and stand up to normal use. I would conclude that after a month of use so far, these will continue to be trouble free and provide hours and hours of outdoor fun.

Bought one for our 7 year old grandson birthday. Ordered one of each other color for the rest of our grandkids! They love them! (Ages 7, 9, 2, and 2 three year olds) Very happy with the quality. Even saw my son-in-law sitting on one, and he is way over the weight limit.
