[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a bit intimidated to get my first at home expresso machine, but those fears were quickly eased. This machine is so easy to use! I love that it has a removable tray so I have the option of using expresso shot glasses or coffee mugs. The recipe booklet that comes along with it walked me through making my first expresso. The coffee was fabulous, it taste just like I got it at a shop! This machine is the perfect size, it's short enough to fit on my countertop under my kitchen cabinets without feeling crowded.

It has the basic components one needs to brew some espresso with nothing extra. This is not a higher end thousand dollar espresso machine and it's important to keep that in mind. It's good for someone who wants to get comfortable with the process of espresso making. However just because it isn't the best machine, does not mean that this couldn't be someone's end game if they wanted to. If you want to see if you like making espresso but don't want to break the bank, give this a try

Making espresso is a little trickier than I thought but this machine made it a breeze. The detailed instructions helped me understand how to make a perfect shot of espresso and steam milk with the steaming wand. It included most things needed but I really wish it had a jug for steamed milk included and a nicer tamp but it still worked great! Pros: -easy to use -detailed instructions -doesn't take up much counter space -consistent texture on foam/steamed milk -visibility of water level -warming plate for cup -storage for unused porta filter baskets Cons: -included “tamp” is cheap plastic so was hard to get good even pressure -did not include a steam/froth pitcher -porta filter basket fell out of the porta filter when I tried to knock the puck out.(had to dig it out of garbage can)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Two weeks ago, receive the DeLonghi manual espresso machine. I has been used for that time and this is my oppinion. The machine works very good the coffe cup is creamy and strong and the aroma of coffee is delicious. Some cons that I found is very slow to fill and prepare your coffee. We start our day at 4 am and to prepare 2 coffees invest at least 15 minutes. Also the machine is dirty because has leaks and when your prepare the coffee always hace residuos of coffee in the table. Also the portion of coffee is very small. In conclusion, I recommend the machine if you have time and patience to clean, and refill coffee. If you don't rush in the morning to go work is fantastic.

Set up is quick and simple, all directions are clear, and plenty of illustrations and pictures to make the process nearly foolproof. I love the three size inserts for the espresso grounds so you can customize how many shots you make; they fit securely so even when I hit it against the waste bowl the insert stays put. I also found the scoop/tamping tool very handy. This machine makes a nice espresso with beautiful crema on top. I'm saving so much money making my specialty coffee drinks at home!

It's simple to use and has some basic recipes that comes with it. I'll need to watch a few videos to make better espressos but this is worth it.

It is so smooth, even with my regular coffee grounds (I ground them further with a grinder before using). Everything works great and I've not used my traditional coffee maker since this arrived. My only sadness is not having an espresso maker sooner. Sooooo good!
