I bought one of these for Thanksgiving thinking it would be amazing for the holiday. I opened the plastic and immediately smelled chlorine bleach. The meat and the fat absorbed the flavor of the bleach water it was packed in and never again will I buy anything that does not come vacpacked. Cooked for 14 hours and the smell still had a bleachy air to it. Today, I reheated it and again, tasted like bleach. I am never doing one of these again as apparently these "quality" meats are full of chlorine bleach. The quality of meat coming from Sam's is reprehensible. It isn't just the beef that has that chlorine smell. Never again.

The pounds marked on the meet was way more then what really was …I have a scale and was way less..would never buy meet there again…..almost $90.00 for a too Greece meat and a lye about the real weight (bough 2..almost $200)😡

Split this with my son since it's so big. Actually cut it into 3 pieces. We both smoked our 3rd's and was awesome. Now I have another piece in the freezer to smoke in the future.

bought on line store pick up at Sam's in Jacksonville NC. Shopper or butcher picked the most fattest and worst piece of meat on on the shelf. will not to by meat on line at Sam's again . I will go to restaurant depot insteat.
