I picked up a raw beef brisket from Sam's, and it looked great right out of the package. The marbling was solid, and it was a good size for a slow cook. After smoking it low and slow, the brisket came out tender and juicy with a nice beefy flavor. It had a good balance of fat and meat, making it plenty flavorful without any fuss. Definitely a good choice if you want quality brisket at a good price.

Brown and hard after a day. Had to cut off so much and was still questionable.

Brisket was very fatty with a large mass of gristle in the middle.

More fat less meat than there was two years ago but once you trim and smoke it it’s good, but the competition is a lot worse

Top choice brisket! I smoked this on my pellet grill for 16 hours. It came out almost buttery smooth. I will do this again! A great tasty bit of beef!
