Works very well. The only thing is there isn't an owners manual for this model. It's not even on the Shark website which is strange.

Love this!!! I got the map correct for the areas I wanted to clean. I set it on a schedule and every day I come home to a clean floor and vacuum lines in my carpet. Sometimes I will leave things on the floor just to see if it will reach that area and this vacuum never disappoints, super happy with the purchase

Quieter than my 15 year old Roomba. Easy to set up and use the APP. Unfortunately in less than one month I had an issue with the robot but customer service was super and sent out a new robot within a few days. I use the daily schedule and for about 3200 sq feet with cats, dog and a parrot. Good value for the price

Love this thing! It was easy to set up, and I love that there is an app that I can use to turn it on and off. I was able to set up 'no-go' zones too. It is not a quiet machine, but I don't mind. So far this one hasn't gotten lost under my couch or in strange places. I use it almost every day, have a dog that sheds, and I only have to empty the large bin monthly.

We hemmed and hawed about buying one of these, as we always thought our floors were pretty clean. Well, we were shocked at how much dust and pet hair it picks up every time. It seems to pick up everything it needs to even on carpet. So far, we are completely happy with this purchase.

Well we have named ours Jeffery, and he is truly a god send, it cleans the house on a schedule, and the mapping that was done is great… definitely a must have, it does not like the 1 inch tall rugs in our house. We just pick them up on the daily, no big deal. It’s nice coming home to clean floors. A definite must have in your home!!!!

I'd have given five stars except the unit was delivered without the side brush and contacting customer support to get one was very difficult. Like so many companies these days, Shark has done all they can to prevent you speaking or chatting with a human being. Side brushes are really inexpensive so I ordered some on-line, but a boomer like me expects all the parts to be included or we complain to the manager. So with that out of the way... I bought this to replace my Roomba S9 which was several years old. The Shark Matrix is much better at navigating obstacles like thresholds, furniture C-shaped supports, fabric on the floor and so on. I had to pretty much follow the Roomba around getting it unstuck, moving it off of thresholds, putting it back on its charger when it got lost and generally babysitting it whenever it was working. The Shark Matrix is much less labor intensive. While both can get tangled in wires, the Shark is far more forgiving. The Shark mapped my home a lot faster than the Roomba did. I have an area rug in my dining room with jet-black wide stripes. Both the Roomba and the Shark interpreted those stripes as "cliffs" they could fall into (and they both quit at those spots) so I will probably end up making that rug a no-go zone. The Shark self-emptying feature is excellent, though their claim that you only need to empty the dust reservoir every sixty days will only hold if you are vacuuming NASA clean rooms or hospital surgical suites. I cleaned my bedroom and bathroom once, which is less than a third of my house, and the dust reservoir was completely filled. And that after I had just used a stick vacuum on that room yesterday. We have a Golden Retriever dog, and they shed unbelievably much, so I'm sure most people will be able to go several days between emptying the dust bin, but I expect to empty mine every night. The flip side is that the vacuum was obviously picking up a LOT of dog hair that I had missed. In other words, it does a good job vacuuming the floor! The Shark Matrix is significantly less expensive than the Roomba S9+, but so far I am more pleased with the Shark Matrix. I recommend this product!

I was quite shocked when I asked my soon-to-be 10-year-old grandson, Fitz, what he wanted for his birthday and he said, "I want a Robo Vac!" I asked him if he meant an automatic vacuum cleaner that is round, and he replied, "Yes, Nena. It will help me with Sawyer, my bearded dragon cleanup, and it goes under my bed too! I have a hard time lifting the bed." So, thank you, Sam's, for having exactly what he wanted for his 10th birthday.

I expected Better, It runs into more issues than my old Shark does. Does not appear to be running the pattern I expected. Doesn’t get close to the wall or couches. Sadly I can’t run it and have alarm system on. Just a bit disappointed.
