I had to replace my irobot that didn't want to charge anymore. This shark vacuum is great! It was easy to map the house and so far it hasn't gotten any stuck like my Irobot did, the bin hasn't been full to empty yet so plenty of space and my floors look so clean. I see it gets every corner.

This robot does a great job of cleaning, and navigated my home pretty well, even negotiating thresholds that were about 1/2" high. The mapping feature is Ok. It's difficult to delineate distinct rooms. Unlike other robot vacuums, this just makes you draw boxes to indicate where a room is, rather than assuming that the 4 walls the vacuum has already detected might be the actual room. This map setup leads to some overlap which might have improved if the robot had multiple chances to clean the house and learn more. But the biggest disappointment is that even though it maps the house, you can't then schedule cleaning for a specific room. You can manually send it to a room, but you can't set up a schedule to tell the robot "clean the kitchen every day at 12pm". I don't want the vacuum to clean the whole house every day. But there are some rooms that need daily attention. Once I realized this failing in the software, I knew this robot vac would not work for me. Which is a shame, because the price is great and I love the self-emptying option. If you are OK with a robot that can only clean the entire house on a schedule then you will probably love this one.

Had this for 3 weeks and so far it’s awesome, really helps to maintain the floors clean while I wait for the weekend to sweep and mop. Since my dog sheds a lot I will need to empty and maintain the robot every 2-3 weeks, already have done this once and it was pretty simple to do. The app and robot mapped the house really well, I was able to label rooms, hallways, etc no problem. Love that I can also set the level of cleaning needed, select spot cleaning and also zones not to clean. overall i’m very happy with this purchase. Also, it’s not loud at all and doesn’t bounce off walls or doors like my other robot from another company did so I don’t wake anyone when I run this shark.

I have been pondering getting one of these for years but didn't think the technology was there yet. With the lower prices and multiple revisions to the systems, it was go time. This thing is great, it does 90% of what an old-fashioned vacuum would do, so for a daily cleaning up of dog hair and crumbs it's perfect. It won't replace a conventional vacuum since it can't go under some furniture and tight spaces but it does an excellent job. The 60 Day capacity is NOT for people with pets, the actual capacity is 3-4 days but it sure beats dragging out the ole Closet Monster every day. I ordered a bunch of spare parts to keep on hand knowing that by the time this needs them the manufacturer probably won't make them anymore. The app texts you if there is a problem and gives a daily report on its activity. You may need to map your floor plan 2 or 3 times to get it right and it's easy to create No Go areas of exclusion.

Once I got it figured out, it works nice. Getting started instructions were not as clear as could be. Eventually got on the app after a few tries. If I want to block an area under an end table for the Matrix, the program only has a box you can only make so small, which is an area larger than the end table. When they say you can prevent it from going over cords, I can’t inure it out. But once I got it working, I like it. Really collects a lot of dog hair!!!! I have to empty it every 3-4 days, but that’s my dog.

Does much more than our previous model. This one can get over obstacles the other one couldn’t like different levels of the floor. The old one we had to put up magnetic strip to keep it from going to our foyer area because it would get stuck. But this one goes over it

We wanted to give this vacuum a try after our Bissell quit working. My Bissell had a remote control which I liked. This model is controlled through an app on your phone. Not a fan. Yes, you can program rooms to clean in the app; however, not so sure it’s a good idea that a vacuum outlines your house on an app - well, let’s face it, anyone can figure out the layout of your house? Also, I can program the time to clean which is fine. It’s to clean once a day; however, later in the day engages to “clean” on its own without being programed to. Soooo, who’s controlling that?? It’s cleans and empties at its station which is a plus. (Didn’t want the wash feature on other models due to my floors.) Honestly, it’s noisy in that it makes sounds when it begins to clean. Alerting at least the dog to vacate the area. Lol For the money paid, I’d have preferred a handheld remote and not one connected to my phone to collect data about my life anymore than everyone else does. Probably stick to vacuuming. At least that doesn’t collect my personal life and layout of my house. 👎🏻

BATTERY RUNS DOWN FAST. NEED TWO FOR A LARGER HOME. ADDING ANOTHER AFTER MAPPING IS CUMBERSOME. NOT WORTH $399, MAYBE $299 OF THAT.
