Keeps the room cool and was super easy to install. Was looking for something reasonably priced that would cool a large bedroom, and this is exactly what I needed. It's quiet, keeps the air temp just right, and can be installed quickly by one person if necessary. Additional weather stripping was needed, but from what I read before purchasing, that would have been the case no matter what unit I bought.

This is a very powerful A/C that can cool the surrounding area very, very fast. In fact, it can get a little too cold too fast so beware. :) I have been using it for weeks not and have not had any issues. It's a bit loud if you are sitting close to it but oh well, that is fine. The remote works great, haven't gotten a chance to try to Wi-Fi on it but I don't think I'll need it. Highly recommended.

So far, I've been satisfied with purchase. In the past, I've purchased GE products and Midea has performed better than GE. With the extensive heat these past several months, it's performed well without any issues. I hope it performs as well in the years to come.

This is a very powerful air conditioner it cooled my living room, dining room and kitchen. I set it at 71 degrees and it is temperature sensitive so very energy efficient. I am going to buy another one for up stairs.

Unit cools consistently to maintain and regulate temperature. It's not too hot, then too cold. I love the remote and the easily read digital temperature display.

We bought 2 of these air conditioners. They are unbelievable and very efficient. They turn off when the set temperature is reached and turns itself on when needed. Easy to put together and install.

I did not purchase this AC for sleep, although it is installed in a bedroom. I purchased it for cooling ability. In that regard, although it has only been in operation for just over a week, it has been an excellent performer and based on its current performance I would definitely purchase it again. In my opinion, and for its size, it does an above average job of cooling and it was a breeze to install. I would rate its cooling ability a 5+. I do not use the remote functions. However, this AC is LOUD and in the beginning was very annoying. During each cooling cycle, this unit goes through about 4 noise level and sound changes. Very different from other brand AC's I have owned. These noise and level changes have been easy enough to get use to and are no longer distracting during the day. However, after a week of operation, it's noises still wake me up at night during every cycle change. It's different, but I will get use to it. In the meantime, it is LOUD enough to disrupt sleep. For normal sleepers I would rate it a 3 for night time use. For light sleepers I would rate it a 1.

I do not have a problem with the unit itself. It was the shipping. The box was destroyed and unit damaged but still workable. This AC is a little too heavy to return. This is the second time this has happened. I might need to stick to items the are in the store.

Not efficient, Side Curtains and Frames leave gaps between unit and frame & does not cool 400 sf room. Foam does not prevent insect access and comes loose. Even with unit set at 66 degrees the room temperature averages 80 degrees. Loud.
