Not very happy

Our only complaint is that every time we turn on the tv a pop up comes up asking if we want to download more stuff. We NEVER do because then the screen fills up with things to buy like Hulu and tubi, etc. We are lucky to be able to afford the basics and don't want to be asked every freaking day this same question. If we want to watch a movie which is rare for us, then we will handle that ourselves. We don't think this download question should be asked and don't think our screen should be full of countless things to purchase unless we ask for the service. There should be a way to opt out of that annoying and very frustrating question every day even multiple times a day if the tv is turned on more than once a day. When our downstairs tv needs replacing soon we will not consider LG

Thanks so much for sharing your experience with us using the LG 65 Inch Class UQ8000 AUB series LED 4K UHD Smart webOS 22 w/ ThinQ AI TV, model 65UQ8000AUB. To remove this feature, the TV has to be set in HOME mode instead of STORE mode. To do this go into the SETUP menu then scroll down to LOCATION. using the left or right arrow keys change STORE to HOME and the pop ups should no longer appear on the screen. You can also do this, if applicable: Go to HOME > Settings > All Settings > General > Additional Settings > Home Settings > Turn off auto launch and Turn off Promotion. I've usually replaced TVs every 3 years or so, and I usually buy the newest models and the newest tech. This TV far exceeded my expectations in every single category. Picture is bright, crisp, and vibrant. Colors are vivid. Blacks are probably the second blackest I've ever seen on a TV panel. But I love it regardless. The game mode is amazing. All the smart TV features including the compatibility with Google Assistant is just out of this world. It is a big boi, and very heavy.

I bought this 86 inch TV a few days before the super bowl for my basement. The picture is fantastic! I can't imagine wanting a better or clearer picture. Sports are smooth, motion is perfect. I went to the other room with our 55 inch TV and it seemed so small! This TV is awesome. Very easy to use OS too, no longer need a kindle fire.

Very good smart features but not perfect

Updated to the latest version, the tv is for the most part very good. Useful for iOS screen mirroring and as a wireless second display for my laptop. It doesn't work all the time but when it does it works very well with little input lag. Other problem is when you connect using hdmi, input lag is very high unless you configure it to game mode. Other than that great picture, great value. Love the Magic pointer feature, very easy to use the on screen keyboard and much faster than using a d pad.

Very cumbersom

It's not user friendly. Just to set the timer for shut off, you must take 7 steps just to get to it, and it's not easy to find! Why can't they make it easier? Then while getting to it, the remote turns into a mouse, so to speak. It works half the time. When hitting the round button in the middle of the large circle, it jumps and selects the wrong option. Extremely frustrating. I do not recommend the LG.
