We have owed Vizio's starting out as a family and Samsung's when we became more financially secure. This time we were trying to fill a second home so we went for the ‘quality bargain'. Couldn't be happier! The picture is sharp, the colors are bright and the blacks are crisp. The remote is actually super easy once you get used to it, maybe even easier than all of the others we have used in the past. We liked it so much we bought a second one for the living room. The sound quality is fine ‘as is' and doesn't require a sound bar. The limited HDMI ports may have been a problem in the past but it's not for us with streaming.

We are very satisfied with the overall picture quality and price point, however the user interface is really bad, not intuitive, and has no ability to add additional apps. So much so that we bought an Amazon Firestick to bypass the LG user interface all together and be able to add our favorite missing apps.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is a great addition to the other technologically advanced items we have in our home. I'm still learning some of the features, but I'm satisfied with what I've experienced thus far. The only thing I don't like is the buffering the IP channels do from time to time or the fact that the channels will just freeze. We have 1 router and 2 access points through a very good router company and none of our other device's buffer or freeze...so I don't know what is going on with this part of the product. Normally only 3 phones and the TV are the only products running on the router and the router can handle up to 21 items.

Have always wanted one and was so glad when this became available. Have had LG tv's for many years and have enjoyed the great quality of these previous items in this 86 inch!! It is a true experience turning it on each and every time. The picture is exceptional and makes every program so up close and personal. Watching programming now is truly a pleasure! Thank you,

We have been using our new tv in the bedroom for a couple of weeks now and enjoy the features it provides. Very nice picture without really adjusting anything. When we change channels it tells us what is on which helps when a commercial is on. The remote works well but takes a little getting used to. Our WI-Fi modem is in the living room and we have no connection trouble. Very happy with our purchase!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this TV in October 2022 as a replacement of a similar sized 15 year old TV, and am very pleased with the picture quality and sound. I have not used all its capabilities yet to comment on them. My only issues are this unit does not have a swivel stand which makes access to the back difficult in my box opening, and does not have connections for my older VCR and DVD player/recorders.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are really enjoying our new TV. My only concern is that the TV does not work well using applications from a ROKU box. We could not get the video and sound to sync especially watching sports. Once I figured out the ROKU applications and LG didn't work well together I just switched to LG apps.

I find this television a little challenging with my Spectrum cable, This seems like it would be easier just using apps. I was familiar with my old smart tv that opened to HDMI 1 which was my cable channels. This wasn't an expensive tv but I expected better picture color quality when viewing not totally in front of it like from my kitchen.

We bought our LG86 for our home theater and are very happy with the purchase. Very slim profile for such a large screen was easy to hang on the wall and provided excellent access to connection points. We used the optical port to connect the audio to our home theater amplifier, but it has excellent sound on it's own. We also added an LED light kit to add ambient light around the screen. Now we know that LG has TVs available with higher screen resolution but this set has a great Ultra HD picture, is loaded with features, and most importantly, fit our budget. Lots of cool menu options and features are available on this TV to help us customize this TV to meet our needs.This is a 2022 model, not some old school set.
