Thank you for communicating with us about your measurement concerns with your LG TV. Please know that the measurement shown on our product's name is an approximate diagonal measure. Its dimensions (WxHxD) without the stand are 75.9" x 43.5" x 2.4". Diagonally, it would result in around 87 inches. We hope this helps clear things up. Thanks for choosing LG! -Cazz
