Zipper problems

I placed my newly bought tumblers in the bag and when i lifted it, the zipper opened by itself and all my documents scattered all over the parking lot and my bottles now have a ding. Needless to say that I returned the bag.

Great until you need a warranty replacement

Used the backpack for two years and the drink holder on both sides tore. I've been trying to get any type of response from Swiss Gear for over two weeks now and nobody seems to work there. I've followed all their warranty requirements and the claim just sits there. I tried to email them and the email just gets returned as undeliverable.... Beware if you need any type of support from Swiss Gear

Poor quality backpack and worst customer service

I purchased a SwissGear laptop Backpack for my school going son from Sams and within couple of years the shoulder straps started tearing off and stitches came off. Since SwissGear offers 5 years of warranty and market their backpacks as strong and durable product, I raised a claim with them, but not only was the claim process tedious and cumbersome but the final outcome from the claim was a sham. First I had to file an online claim with all pictures of damages and various patches and parts of the backpack. And after filing an online, they wanted me to send them the bag patches through post with tracking ID, which cost me $6 and time. Maybe the goal of all this online Plus postal process is to make it harder for customers to file a claim. After all the required processes were completed, I got an approval for 15% off coupon from SwissGear which can ONLY be used on their retail website. And when I checked on their retail website all their prices were exhorbitant plus they had shipping fees. Even after applying the coupon, the price was more than what I would pay at Sams or some other online retailer to get the same Swissgear bag. It was a complete joke. When I complained to their customer service, I was told that the shoulder straps tore due to normal wear and tear. My son used the bag for school and if these high quality bags cannot manage the school items weight then what is the durability of these bagpacks? So if you are fine with your shoulder straps tearing off which according to SwissGear is normal wear and tear, only then I would recommend SwissGear backpacks to anyone. I never expected such pathetic customer service plus poor quality bags from SwissGear.

Have to use Carefully

The laptop pouch is bound to just fall off if the zips are on the top.One has to make sure both the zips are on the bottom. I had a few times forgot to bring it down and the when I zipped it, both of them stayed on the top. The zips just unzip themselves due to the weight of the laptop and the bag just falls down.

This bag is not for me.

I have been a long time owner of a Swiss backpack. After many years, my previous Swiss backpark started to fail with broken seams and fraying. I saw the Swiss 3760 at Sam's and since I needed a new Backpack, I went ahead with it. After using it for 2 weeks, I'm going to go backpack shopping again. This model may be perfect for other people, but it did not meet my needs. The material is less substantial than my last model.

Unzipped

I did not like it when the bag had my MacBook and iPad in it, because it kept unzipping itself. At one point, my MacBook almost fell out. I had to keep checking it every few minutes when I was walking from the plane to the global entry checkpoint. I ended up putting locks on the zippers just to keep them from opening up with the light weighted items that were inside.

Spacious, Comfortable, Adjustable!

This Backpack is Spacious. I can fit my Lenovo Laptop, Macbook Pro 2017 Touchbar, iPad, Desk Lamp, and cables for all, all in this bag. With room left for more standard supplies like Notebook, Folders, Pens and Pencils. It is Comfortable - The Straps easily adjust to put the backpack on, and tighten them up for security and to prevent counter-movement wobble, and it's easy to release to open up the arm straps to put it on and take it off. All around best bookbag I've ever used.

Does not stay closed when packed

Took this on a trip was very disappointed that the zipper unzipped while I was running through the airport and my stuff fell out. There’s no way to lock it or secure it. It happened multiple times and my friend bought the same backpack and had the same problem her books fell out
