Yes it saves ink, but they make it so difficult to connect the print via wireless. I have to reset the printer every a few times and sometimes it does NOT connect at all. No mention to figure out how to connect multiple devices. This is one of the worst purchase I made.

I bought this printer and it lasted less than a year. The ink is still more than 1/2 full, original ink, but it stopped printing colors - not poor quality printing - simply no colored ink comes out. Running cleaning cycles does not work. It does still do a nice job of printing black.

Bought this printer on 12-21-22 after my 2450 stopped printing after about 10 years runs great but constantly shows ink out yet all are full ! Anyway set up new T-2499 and prints beautiful but wont let me install my remote wi-fy - I'm not sure to recommend to anyone who wants to print remotely !

The set up on this printer takes for ever, matched with the fact that there is no air print so to print anything from a computer you have to download all of the Epson software. The printer can not print double sided by itself and is a real pain to try to do so… I have also had trouble getting the printer to actually work, in my experience I have only been able to print half of the time. The printer itself also just has a very very cheap look to it! NOT WORTH YOU MONEY

Installed flawlessly. Phone app found printer immediately, initial setup is very well explained, takes less than 10 minutes. Prints and scans great with Ubuntu 24.04 and Linux Mint 22.1. Time will tell about durability. Those who threw 1 star reviews very likely did not follow critical initial setup steps like making sure the ink tanks are full, running ridiculously outdated OS (like windows XP), have cheap buggy wifi routers or have allowed the ink to dry. If you don't print a lot, EVERY month make sure to print a page full of each "pure" color, or else it will dry and head cleaning won't do anything more than fill the expensive waste tank.

I’d give it zero stars. It’s unreliable, doesn’t stay connected to devices, doesn’t stay connected to wifi, prints blank sheets at random despite making printer noises. Have to delete and re install drivers, turn it on and off, I want to take a bat to it. Worst printer I’ve ever owned.

Needed a new printer so decided on this one. Should have read reviews. Too long on setting up and all the instructions said was to see "Users guide". Didn't have the right site to go to, but finally did. Set up guide should have shown what the other symbols mean. Taking too long will look up later. Right now a little disapointed in product. Having trouble connecting to phone.

I've had for 6 months or so, and its great! Very easy to setup for wifi printing and using the Epson app is very easy as well. It prints very good-looking pages especially photos on photo paper. The minor things I would change are the speed of printing and noise level while printing. In my opinion these could be a bit better. But I would definitely recommend this printer for the price. And the Ink savings are great too.

This little, lightweight printer was just perfect for what I needed. It was setting it up and trying to find drivers and features (scan, e.g.) that made it very much a difficult product. It requires some real tech savvy to get this set up and working with the features. As far as print and scan quality, that was fine. It's the setting up and installing that prevents me from giving it any additional stars.
